Watched TD last night...

ON your theory Rusty

[spoiler]Despite Rust shagging Marty's Missus, I think he is loyal, and would back Marty up, regardless of what went down with them.

I've just started watching American Horror Story. Man, that is an unsettling show.

Yep , Connie Britton is looking good these days I thought. I used to piss myself at the different perspectives on the maid too. -

TR what do you think about Marty's conversation with his ex? It was odd and I think might have had something to do with the things her dad says

Very odd, you need to be following closely to know the time period they are in and/or talking too.

I hadnt really realised so much time has passed over the course of things.
-

When you explain it like that it seems so obvious . Surprised that no one else has already cottoned onto it, kind of ruins the final episode though -
Any of you fullas heard anything about this show "resurrection"? Ch7 is pumping it hard but I think I am going to give it a miss. I just know they are never going to come up with a decent enough explanation to build a show around, and I am going to get the shits. These supernatural shows rarely work out.

I thought it was 7/8th awesome. The final episode didn't stick the landing for me, not sure why, it just didn't (for me).

Still, it's likely in my 10 best shows of all time.

It's based on a French show called The Returned which is supposed to be awesome - from the sounds of things Resurrection is pretty poor in comparison.
-
What did you all think of the final ? The reviewer at the New Yorker is not pleased http://m.newyorker.com/arts/critics/television/2014/03/03/140303crte_television_nussbaum

I liked it the final. Perhaps you meant to paste this link. I don't agree with Emily Nussbaum, I also don't adopt a sneer of intellect for the New Yorker's readership. She's missed the point badly about threads that don't require tidying up - they're the fog of war, the dead ends from leads and assumptions that require investigating until they're not important as well as the daily minutiae that the detectives have to deal with in their lives and Nic Pizzolatto rightly ignored it in the end if it didn't actually matter in solving the case.
-

I hadn't seen the second article , she must be a bunch of laughs to hang out with. I enjoyed it though , kind if reminded me of the sopranos final episode . -

Anyone else upto date on The Walking Dead? Crazy good episode tonight.

I assumed you meant the second article too as the one you posted didn't address the final episode. She's a bit of a weird fish that reviewer.

I still don't think the finale lived up to the series as a whole (and I don't need all loose ends tied up in the least), but as I said the show is still awesome.
-
