When you explain it like that it seems so obvious . Surprised that no one else has already cottoned onto it, kind of ruins the final episode though -
Any of you fullas heard anything about this show "resurrection"? Ch7 is pumping it hard but I think I am going to give it a miss. I just know they are never going to come up with a decent enough explanation to build a show around, and I am going to get the shits. These supernatural shows rarely work out.

I thought it was 7/8th awesome. The final episode didn't stick the landing for me, not sure why, it just didn't (for me).

Still, it's likely in my 10 best shows of all time.

It's based on a French show called The Returned which is supposed to be awesome - from the sounds of things Resurrection is pretty poor in comparison.
-
What did you all think of the final ? The reviewer at the New Yorker is not pleased http://m.newyorker.com/arts/critics/television/2014/03/03/140303crte_television_nussbaum

I liked it the final. Perhaps you meant to paste this link. I don't agree with Emily Nussbaum, I also don't adopt a sneer of intellect for the New Yorker's readership. She's missed the point badly about threads that don't require tidying up - they're the fog of war, the dead ends from leads and assumptions that require investigating until they're not important as well as the daily minutiae that the detectives have to deal with in their lives and Nic Pizzolatto rightly ignored it in the end if it didn't actually matter in solving the case.
-

I hadn't seen the second article , she must be a bunch of laughs to hang out with. I enjoyed it though , kind if reminded me of the sopranos final episode . -

Anyone else upto date on The Walking Dead? Crazy good episode tonight.

I assumed you meant the second article too as the one you posted didn't address the final episode. She's a bit of a weird fish that reviewer.

I still don't think the finale lived up to the series as a whole (and I don't need all loose ends tied up in the least), but as I said the show is still awesome.
-

What were you expecting from the final? Not having a dig, just curious about the angle you were hoping for. One loose end I never want tied up is what that obese creature meant by "making flowers", interesting that the place where they had the ceremonies with the kids was quite overgrown and rundown.
-
I like 2/3 of the finale, that obese dude and his missus, something is didn't need a thought of...

Possible sister/cousin I try not to think about whether or nor they confirmed that. -

Finale of Walking Dead - pretty good, if not a little predictable (the ending anyway)
That scene where Rick, Mishawn, Darryl and Carl killed those dudes was pretty brutal!

You always knew that Terminus was going to be a failure, the only question is to what end are they being held?

My thought was that they are feeding the Walkers somewhere which somehow keeps them away.

The fact that they could walk in without any resistance or seeing anyone should have alarmed them, although I guess they just wanted it to be a 'sanctuary' so bad, they ignored any warnings?
Am 8 eps into Justified also, as always, enjoyable, although I do miss the banter between Raylan and Boyd....
-

The scene where they killed those guys was in the book, terminus isn't though . They might be the main course for the residents.
