<p>google images tells me they're disappointing </p>

<br>
Dom Hemingway - great performance from Jude Law, one of those ones where you forget he's Jude Law<br>
<br>
Cheap Thrills - an age old premise which rolls along nicely<br>
<br>
Filth - a watered down trainspotting type movie</p></blockquote>
<br>
Dom Hemmingway - watch it for Jude law's massive performance but if it's a plot you want you will be sorely disappointed. Jude Laws performance lifts this other wise 3/10 to a 7/10. <br><br>
Law could get an oscar nod I reckon. His effort really deserved a good story to go with it. -

I was sitting there thinking "where do I know this chick from? Fuck me, Percy Jackson!!". If it's good enough for some chick out of a teen adventure series to get her kit off it should be fine for another. I'm looking at you Jennifer Lawrence! -

<p>Not just 2014, perfection is an often overused word these days along with epic and awesome. All three fail to capture the divine form of Alexandra Daddario.</p> -
<p>Lili Simmons did alright in True Detective and Banshee</p>

I would have preferred it had left nothing to the imagination. -
Video games, TV and computers have ruined my imagination....:(

All this time I've been working in IT like a schmuck, when my perfect career was Being Woody Harrelson. -
<p>Mama - a horror with Jamie Lannister (he could aused his sword too given he had both hands back) one of those tortured soul type films where thier story needed telling for them to be released</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Had some creepy, tingly, hairs on back of neck moments, but IMO too much special effects (particularly the 2nd half of the film) of the 'tortured soul' detracts from this kind of thing, rather than just sounds, fleeting glimpses or shadows to feed your imagination and create suspense, not to mention the obligatory stupidity got that fulla killed scene....</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Was ok, but been a while since I watched a really scary film.</p> -

<p>I didn't mind it, if you want to watch something scarier try Sinister.</p> -

<p>Movie execs really are a shower of fluffybunnies aren't they? Do any of these remakes actually even live up to the original, let alone improve on them?</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Why remake movies people like? Remake movies that could have been cool, but kinda got fucked up. </p> -
<p>Oh, i watched "Jake the Giant Slayer" on the weekend. Yea it's a kids movie (ish, a lot of people get killed) but i thought it was pretty entertaining. looked cool, and the characters were pretty funny in the main.</p>

Because movie execs are a bunch of risk-averse fairies. They go with what they know makes money, rather than trying new stuff. And the fluffybunnys put too much money into it as well.I'm watching "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" which I recorded from SBS so it's the original Swedish version. Budget $13 million - box office $104 million = $8 return.
English version with Daniel Craig: budget $90 million. Box office $232 million = $2.5 return.
Silly pricks. Hollywood is hampered by a greedy union system though.
