Anyone else started? I found Ep 1 to be a bit of a mess trying to set up the plotlines but it all makes sense again in a great Ep2.
 
Good to see the cop (Art) back in a bigger way. He adds a touch of real world to the weird happenings.

Gave up on Revolution quite a while back but have kept going on Arrow. Big game changer last week and the last few eps of the season should be a cracker.
 
Best thing is that we may finally get rid of the island flashbacks. They annoy the shit out of me (mainly from the bad wigs)
 
I'm interested to see where they go with Roy's character. I assume that StarLabs will come up with an antidote to the Mirakuru but whether it has full effect on Roy will remain to be seen.

But yeah certainly looks like setting up for a good last few eps...Assume they all react differently to the Mirakuru, given Roy is simply an angry person that cant control it, Slade has had years to sort his out, yet his army all seemed pretty controlled too.
 
There is also that nerdy dude who is still I a Coma, who must surely come out with powers...Not sure why Oliver is (was) with Sarah when he coulda had Laurel or Felicity!
 
Revolution has gone down a bit IMO, although the lack of continuity (has a good ep then 2 week break) is probably part of the problem, as I was really getting into it!

The" nerdy dude in a coma" is the Flash. They used Arrow to set up the backstory for the new Flash series. Arrow producers have said they have looked at introducing Flash in Arrow but have decided it won't be done until the standalone series.

ah ok, haven't looked at any of the forums/comic stuff, aside from looking at Slade...although 2 different sites didn't really tie in a great deal, so I am not sure if the series will take that route.
 
Stink they wont use the Flash though, Ollie could use some help right now (not to mention why did they bother introducing him?)

To set up the offshoot series. This is the DC franchise doing what Marvel have done. Will be interesting to see if they run two separate (TV and Movie) environments with intertwining elements. The movie side has Batman and Superman and about to add Wonder Woman. There is a JLA movie in the works though and in theory should include both Arrow and Flash.

I'm still watching Revolution but like you TR I think the scheduling has stuffed it completely. I thought this season was going great up until a few episodes ago.
 
I have about 10 unwatched episodes of Arrow. I put it in my light entertainment box and Agents of Shield took that spot on my viewing roster in the past couple of months. I assume I'll get back into it but it wasn't holding my interest at the time ... even with the Maori villain.
 
I'm still really enjoying The Americans.

I haven't started S2 of The Americans yet, it falls into my late night viewing (which is where Arrow and Revolution sit presently) as something Mrs TR doesn't watch, but am looking forward to it after the S1 finale!

The Americans is in my morning and dinner rotation - where I like to concentrate ... Arrow and Revolution are in my late night 'easy watching' period.
 
I think The Americans S2 is a step above S1 story and character wise.

Ragnar reminds me a lot of Jax Teller, with the swagger, the charm and underlying intelligence.
 
[spoiler]Like that his son Bjorn has returned as a brute of a young fella!
 
I prefer wife # 1 as well, but loved the scene I ep 1 where he was trying to convince wife #1 it'd be a good idea to let him have a 2nd wife!

I'm just watching the first series of Vikings now. I remember when I first saw pics from Vikings I actually thought it was Jax (and assumed Sons had been canceled). I'm 4 episodes in and mostly enjoying it. Ragnar reminds me of Maui TBH.
 
It's kind of weird following a show where the protagonists are raiding places and killing people.

I am about 8 episodes into the first season of Arrow. I must just be keen for a superhero TV series, because I keep watching even though I pretty much hate all of the characters' guts.
 
I find myself yelling at the tv a lot, especially at the cop and his lawyer daughter. There's no consistency or logic to what they say, it's just whatever is the polar opposite opinion of the protaginist at that time.
 
Last episode four characters went on a double date (a love triangle + a new love interest for the hero). The two characters who aren't together but are clearly into each other start remisinicing about how they used to be together, which is stupid. The fourth wheel throws a tanty because they went on a date with the other couple... but she was the one who f&*cken invited them!

Just watch most of Series one on fast forward Milk. It takes a while to find it's feet and for the writers to get on track. Oliver is just a moody biatch all the way through and his acting ability doesn't reach that far.
Series two focuses mainly on one villain so is a lot more cohesive.
It's just comic book stuff for filler viewing but has been good enough for me to keep watching.
 
 
Meanwhile on OB2, things have ramped up and it looks like the premise for this series has been established now.

S1 also wanes a lot about ep17 or so, too much of the same stuff...S2 had a bit of a lull, but is getting interesting again, guess when you run for >20 eps with breaks every month...
 
Started Banshee last night, was an ok opening ep.
