Raz, Aussie has ruined your grammar and spelling but done wonders for your comprehension.

Gladiator is fucking rad. Master & Commander is pretty fun as well.

But i think my favourite thing with old Rusty is the South Park episode "Making movies, making songs, and fight'n round the world"

Master & Commander was fun. Gladiator was very so-so, which is about the best you can say for late career Ridley Scott (have any of you fluffybunnies seen The Counselor? That was easily the most profoundly and unwittingly awful movie of the past decade).

Big Russ was fucking great in the Insider and Romper Stomper. I suspect they gave him the oscar as a corrective to over looking his performance in the Insider.

It was probably the best performance as a scientist I've seen, and as someone who is mostly a cancer researcher now, it's one of the few genuinely inspirering performances I've seen.

haha a c-bomb escaped the filter (but not in the quote? Ghost in the machine man)

I haven't seen The Counselor, but i heard it's rubbish. Some of these blokes are battling to maintain reputation, see Oliver Stone and "Savages" which is a steaming pile of shit.

I disagree, Gladiator had some fantastic acting scenes, just not by Crowe.

First Roman soldier who looked like a chain smoker who'd rather spend the day at home with a tinnie or two.

Didn't get through The Counsellor. Can't imagine it got any worse from where I gave up.

I liked him in romper stomper, I don't get the gladiator hype though. I thought it was cool but not that special after the opening scenes vs the goths.
Maybe I can't seperate russ the jackass from russ the actor but I try to avoid anything with that aussie clown in it .

Ms. Browning was indeed not an ideal candidate for leading lady....but yeah, best bits in the movie, Jessica Lucas and the fact it ended, otherwise very cliched and overacting (looking at you Sutherland)

He was great in LA Confidential, too. When I first saw that movie on the big screen I thought he was awesome, and didn't even realize he was the same dude from Romper Stomper.

Tracks - based on the true story of Robin Davidson who decides to trek across 1700miles of Australian outback with a few camels and her dog. I quite liked it, bloody hard yakka to walk that far I bet!

Yep, while I guess the story was based on her diary/journal of her journey, she still comes across as a bit odd!

Finally saw this, had to hunt around to find it in a cinema. Agree with the rating, I was really looking forward too it which can be a recipe for disappointment but it lived up to the hype (what hype there was). Blunt and Cruise were both good in it, I thought Cruise was particularly bloody good as a sniveling wimp.

I can't believe that more Americans didn't go see it.

I don't get it either, I really enjoyed that film. Saw an interview with him where he was describing how they came up with the wimpiest sound possible when the truck ran over him, I think the star wars geeks don't need to worry if he ends up in their film .

Also Emily Blunt looked really hot.

Can't wait to get that one - a movie in which Tom Cruise dies a lot. What's not to like?

Yeah, I don't know why they changed the title, it's much better.

Is it a book book or a graphic novel book?

Jegga: Blunt was hot in it, I've found she's always hotter when speaking with her own accent.

Could be one for the kindle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_you_need_is_kill

I made my apprentices year when I told him that Emily Blunt made a movie with girl on girl love and nude scenes when she was in her early 20s.

Edit , it's called my summer of love and for the most part is a tedious art house thing .
