usually a
bullet first or just the other is how I have seen it, not possibly only knocking them out then bleeding them.

I guess they are saving bullets and that was why they made the big deal about an inventory and kill count?
-

So only a few more episodes of S4 Walking Dead and I'll be catching up with you lot. I've just binge watched about 4 episodes from the end of the first 8 and start of the second 8 and man there was some cold stuff in there.
There was some epic killing in the last of the first 8 during the battle at the prison although I thought that scene was poorly done. When the little girl shot the hot lesbian (that's the only way I can explain that character) I was like WTF? Same to with Herschel, I kind of knew it would happen but it was pretty brutal.

Then the little girl was going to kill Judith - she's turning into a regular Damien Omen.
They seem to have been on a mission to add hot women (for however long they stay but that doesn't matter) since that first series. I can't complain about that.
-
when I bleed something like a kingfish I stun it and then bleed it while it's heart is still beating to force as much blood out as possible, on the farm we used to slice the sheeps throat while they were still alive but not the pigs . I think that's only because they were too hard to catch, when I'm hunting if the shot kills it I let gravity to its work.
This is not a conversation I ever thought I'd be having in relation to human beings though and that was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen on TV . I didn't think they could get worse than killing the two little girls.
-

Just finished the first season of Orphan Black.

No spoilers guys, but I think I know where this is heading... season 2 becomes a whimsical comedy series where the clones team up to scheme and play tricks with peoples lives, ala the movie 'The Parent Trap'???

Pretty sure that's it, hey. And I for one can't wait to get into it.
-

I assume you are on the NZ screenings? Be aware that some of the comments and spoilers here are nearly a week ahead of you.
-

Finally got around to watching the premiere of 'Flash' and the S3 starter of 'Arrow'

Flash- obviously a start up episode but looks quite good. The producers have gone for a different feel than they did with Arrow. A bit more traditional and less brooding. Not looking to be anything that taxes the mind at all just plain superhero fun and games.

Arrow S3 - big change in direction IMO now the rich boy turned vigilante stuff has been and gone.
Diggle is obviously moving to the background and taking a lesser role out in field now Roy is acting as Red Arrow, Oliver and the lovely Ms Smoak have decided not to consumate their attraction (leaving Felicity free to visit me anytime she wishes). The death of Sarah at the end (likely by Malcolm Merlin) suggests that Laurel will take up her mantle as Black Canary.
The guy that has taken over Queen Consolidated is named as Ray Palmer, who in DC Comics is the Atom.
-

Yep and aware.
-

SOA
So all in all a bit of a filler ep to line things up for the next stanza. At least Gemma is shit scared now the boys have Juice. Will be interesting to see where this goes as Juice is already on death row but Jax would go psycho on his ass if he found out that he had helped Gemma hide the facts. Jax can't find out yet anyway as that advances the storyline too far.
I think Nero will work it out real quick now and be placed in a really awkward place. All the shit that has come on him has been because of Gemma's lies but he still loves her and can't just tell the Sons. Might be best that he lets Yellow continue to take the blame knowing they are nearly wiped out anyway.
Something has to be coming soon from that scene of the kid protecting his brother with the hammer. I reckon he'll do something that snaps Jax back to reality.
-
Sons ep 6
the carnage in this series is getting over the top IMO...the feds would be all over all these gangs right now with that body count....that said, am enjoying it.

I honestly thought juice would top himself.... Nero ain't stupid and as you say will figure it out, already you can see the wheels turning
-

1 episode to go in "The Bridge" seems like there is too much happening to finish in an hour, so i expect a cliffhanger to lead in to Season 3.

FX is showing all of "The Walking Dead" this weekend, 4 seasons straight. Wonder how much the hard drive on my Austar box can handle?

Yep and not really...bit of a weak ending IMO, odd series really

Gotham hasnt grabbed me, but is intriguing enough to keep me interested.
-

I enjoyed the first episode of the new series of Walking Dead. They seem to be trying for more graphic violence this season if the first episode is anything to go by. Some of the things shown I thought would be verging on R18 at the movies
trough butchery scene
I'll be happy if all this season lives up to the first episode, but it will be hard.
-

In the interviews before the series started the cast were saying some of the stuff they were doing was going to shock people , I just thought they were trying to hype it up. Obviously I was wrong, that scene stayed with me not just for what you mentioned but the matter of fact way they handled it. Guy walks in completely unfazed by what he sees and has a chat etc, it would have been a lot easier to comprehend if everyone doing the dirty work had been a raving psycho but instead they were so banal. Very well done, if anyone has any info about the spin off series I'd be keen to know.
-

Walking dead next week, if its the same as the book which it drifts back and forth from- so next week will be ruined for you if its right but if you can't wait……..
The black guy who walked outside was bitten by the walker in the water, that why he kissed the girl and walked outside. He was going to get as far away as he could before he turned, when he calms down about his leg he tells the cannibals they are eating tainted meat and they freak. Attacking the church ends badly for them and Rick and the others kill them slowly in front of the priest who is disgusted by them. Also the priest locked himself in the church when the initial outbreak occurred and refused to let anyone in. He's haunted by their deaths and his selfishness.
-
no real surprises really Jegga...they are lucky you can't contract through blood splatter

anyone else watching Homeland? For the 2nd season in a row, i am starting to feel like i am only watching it because the first series was so good.

All you need to know from last season is this
Stupid plot whereby Carrie gets Brody to return so that he can 'redeem' himself by going as a double agent to facilitate a target. He gets caught and gets killed in front of her.

She is preggers with his kid.
That's all that is relevant. In fact apart from the kid it's all irrelevant.
