Just finished the first season of Orphan Black.

No spoilers guys, but I think I know where this is heading... season 2 becomes a whimsical comedy series where the clones team up to scheme and play tricks with peoples lives, ala the movie 'The Parent Trap'???

Pretty sure that's it, hey. And I for one can't wait to get into it.

Finally got around to watching the premiere of 'Flash' and the S3 starter of 'Arrow'

Flash- obviously a start up episode but looks quite good. The producers have gone for a different feel than they did with Arrow. A bit more traditional and less brooding. Not looking to be anything that taxes the mind at all just plain superhero fun and games.

Arrow S3 - big change in direction IMO now the rich boy turned vigilante stuff has been and gone.
Diggle is obviously moving to the background and taking a lesser role out in field now Roy is acting as Red Arrow, Oliver and the lovely Ms Smoak have decided not to consumate their attraction (leaving Felicity free to visit me anytime she wishes). The death of Sarah at the end (likely by Malcolm Merlin) suggests that Laurel will take up her mantle as Black Canary.
The guy that has taken over Queen Consolidated is named as Ray Palmer, who in DC Comics is the Atom.
SOA
So all in all a bit of a filler ep to line things up for the next stanza. At least Gemma is shit scared now the boys have Juice. Will be interesting to see where this goes as Juice is already on death row but Jax would go psycho on his ass if he found out that he had helped Gemma hide the facts. Jax can't find out yet anyway as that advances the storyline too far.
I think Nero will work it out real quick now and be placed in a really awkward place. All the shit that has come on him has been because of Gemma's lies but he still loves her and can't just tell the Sons. Might be best that he lets Yellow continue to take the blame knowing they are nearly wiped out anyway.
Something has to be coming soon from that scene of the kid protecting his brother with the hammer. I reckon he'll do something that snaps Jax back to reality.
I honestly thought juice would top himself.... Nero ain't stupid and as you say will figure it out, already you can see the wheels turning
Yep and not really...bit of a weak ending IMO, odd series really

I enjoyed the first episode of the new series of Walking Dead. They seem to be trying for more graphic violence this season if the first episode is anything to go by. Some of the things shown I thought would be verging on R18 at the movies
trough butchery scene
I'll be happy if all this season lives up to the first episode, but it will be hard.

In the interviews before the series started the cast were saying some of the stuff they were doing was going to shock people , I just thought they were trying to hype it up. Obviously I was wrong, that scene stayed with me not just for what you mentioned but the matter of fact way they handled it. Guy walks in completely unfazed by what he sees and has a chat etc, it would have been a lot easier to comprehend if everyone doing the dirty work had been a raving psycho but instead they were so banal. Very well done, if anyone has any info about the spin off series I'd be keen to know.

Walking dead next week, if its the same as the book which it drifts back and forth from- so next week will be ruined for you if its right but if you can't wait……..
The black guy who walked outside was bitten by the walker in the water, that why he kissed the girl and walked outside. He was going to get as far away as he could before he turned, when he calms down about his leg he tells the cannibals they are eating tainted meat and they freak. Attacking the church ends badly for them and Rick and the others kill them slowly in front of the priest who is disgusted by them. Also the priest locked himself in the church when the initial outbreak occurred and refused to let anyone in. He's haunted by their deaths and his selfishness.
All you need to know from last season is this
Stupid plot whereby Carrie gets Brody to return so that he can 'redeem' himself by going as a double agent to facilitate a target. He gets caught and gets killed in front of her.

She is preggers with his kid.
That's all that is relevant. In fact apart from the kid it's all irrelevant.
OK. Walking Dead.

After reading this thread and seeing how popular the show is I was toying with the idea of watching the lot.

Previously I had seen about 20 minutes of an episode somewhere around season 2 and dismissed it as stupid. Bunch of people walking around trying to survive to the next episode while fighting zombies. Then I watched last nights episode and found that it was really about a bunch of people walking around trying to survive to the next episode while fighting zombies.

What am I not seeing here?
