Alcoholic content, not taste. Most Yank "full strength" beer is barely mid in either of our countries. I agree with you BTW about XXXX Bitter, but their mid-strength is OK in a pinch.<br><br>
The only explanation I have is: Queenslanders.<br><br>
Any of our mass brewed beers are fairly ordinary, but serve a purpose when it's fucking hot and the beer is ice cold. The colder something is, the less flavour comes out of it at consumption due to lower levels of nose. -

That's good to know, my brother insisted there was a decent xxxx he was drinking when was in Qld but I just assumed he had gone native. -
