    Alcoholic content, not taste. Most Yank "full strength" beer is barely mid in either of our countries. I agree with you BTW about XXXX Bitter, but their mid-strength is OK in a pinch.<br><br>
    The only explanation I have is: Queenslanders.<br><br>
    Any of our mass brewed beers are fairly ordinary, but serve a purpose when it's fucking hot and the beer is ice cold. The colder something is, the less flavour comes out of it at consumption due to lower levels of nose.

    That's good to know, my brother insisted there was a decent xxxx he was drinking when was in Qld but I just assumed he had gone native.
