Its interesting reading about them switching off from their day job to having families . The second one was from the Gulf war to Somalia to the second Gulf war.

American Sniper - was a bloody good movie. Didn't quite live up top the awesome trailer but still good nonetheless. The action scenes were decent, reminded me a bit of Generation Kill. The at home scenes were quite decent to, they looked at his psychological state a bit more than I expected they would. Bradley Cooper was pretty good too, his usual smarminess didn't come across and Sienna Miller looked good with dark hair.

Yeah, they left that out of the movie. Personally, seeing some of the things he did in Iraq, I'm not surprised he had some personality quirks when he came back.

I really enjoyed the film, a bit straight forward (as are most Clint Eastwood films) but Cooper was excellent. Deserves his nominations.

The Jedde Ventura one is interesting, he is still suing Kyles widow and says he has no regrets about doing it. I thought he was a cock before but he's taken his resemblance tothe male genitalia to a whole new level.

Its making a fuck ton of cash in the states, just opened to US $90m over 3 days. Something unheard of in January.

Gone Girl. I enjoyed it but there were some seriously stupid things that will ruin it for me if I think about it too much so I won't. Pike was sickly brilliant I thought. 8/10
 
John Wick. I liked this movie. It opened the door for Keanu to reinvigorate his career and I think everyone has a soft spot for Keanu. There were some disappointments, the character back stories specifically everyone except Wick were a bit flat. But the lead gangster was pretty cool. 8/10
 
Dracula Untold. Shit 1/10

How can a movie where Emily Rogakowski exposes herself only get an 8/10 ? It's a tough call between her and the chick from True detective for most talented actress of 2014 for me. 
Pike was very good in that, I don't really remember any specific stupid stuff in it.

She was playing on the good will that people afford victims of domestic violence. A big bruise to the face is also a solid ice breaker with other women and gives her story more credibility.

I havent and wouldnt, irrespective of the woman and her physical attributes but I know lots of people who are ruled by their genitals and not by their brains (you know the sort, the ones that make really bad life decisions and wonder why shit always goes wrong for them). Plenty of folks out there get off on the thrill of potentially getting caught[/spoiler]
