      Reserves:

The University of Waikato Chiefs Under 20’s have been named to play the Hurricanes Under 20’s at FMG Stadium Waikato tomorrow as curtain raiser to the Gallagher Chiefs versus Sunwolves match.

Kicking off at 5.00pm the University of Waikato Under 20’s will again be on the hunt to deliver another comprehensive performance tomorrow evening. The University of Waikato Chiefs Under 20’s last week sealed a 27-24 win over their northern rivals the Blues Under 20’s in a competitive and physical encounter.

Four changes to the starting fifteen will all feature in the forward pack. Loosehead prop Wesley Tapueluleu moves from the bench to start in jersey number one. Gallagher Chiefs lock Fin Hoeata will combine with University of Waikato captain Tupou Vai’i in a tidy locking combination. Peni Finau moves to blindside with Jeriah Mua starting at openside flanker.

Other new additions in the 25 man squad include Bay of Plenty props Jonas Pomare and Benet Kumeroa in this week as cover alongside Gallagher Chiefs Luke Jacobson and Bay of Plenty midfielder Dennon Robinson.

I have posted the Hurricanes U20 line-up here.

If you notice players older than 20 in the squad: that's due to wildcards. See the text under the Hurricanes U20 line-up.

@Steven-Harris It's odd that the Chiefs don't mention it in their own team release. If I hadn't seen the Canes team list, I would have asked the same question.

The 1014 interview with Gatland (in what I assume is his Waihi bach) he says he is looking for a super rugby job next year.

Some good news for Chiefs fans. Chiefs U20 beat Hurricanes U20: 42 - 21.

@sparky be very surprised if Foster went back to chiefs, despite what people here think, I reckon he would command a hefty salary off shore.

Dan Carter is not going to Paris. The Chiefs should sign him as their First Five for the rest of the season. Shift DMac back to fullback.

I think it's too easy to blame DMac for some of the mistakes this season, it's hard for the backs to get going when the forwards are having a hard time around the ruck and scrum. It really comes down to the entire team being shit.

Absolutely. Cooper has to go! No excuses. Three games of dross this season is enough. Tana in disguise!

This team is dross, I think it was badly selected (which may mean they could only get what was available). I don't think that Cooper is a 'bad' coach, but I don't think he's the right coach to mould this bunch. This is actually a perfect team for Rennie and how bad they are probably highlights how good a coach he was, because even when they weren't winning the entire comp under him they were still a dangerous team who made the finals.

In saying that maybe this team can come right. I can only live in (false) hope.
