@jegga Yup!
Jacinda has said NZ will not provide him any assistance to get him back here (given he has no passport, or money)
Listening to a bit on the radio about him, apparently he got in trouble with ISIS for breaking some of thier rules...like drinking alcohol, making alcohol..can take the boy out of Hamilton...
-
It's probably really fucking hard to get Bourbon and Coke tins in Syria or whichever dusty shithole he was hanging out in.

@jegga said he really wanted a slave.
Did he think they would pick on her instead of him? He's dumber than I thought if he believed that .

Elon Musk is by far the coolest billionaire on Twitter
I laughed way too hard at that. What an absolute champion.

the story of Cathay Pacific flight 780
An awful lot more to that story. It wasn't a double engine failure for starters. One failed and the other was "stuck" at a middle range power setting that the pilots couldn't change, hence the high speed landing.
I know both of the pilots and they did an amazing job.
I have had a go in a sim myself and got it to a stop safely as well but fucking scary.

I hoped you'd find that post eventually - almost tagged you in it
I like the Air Crash Investigations stories where the crew and passengers are alive to retell the story!
-
@Donsteppa A bit busy moving house, etc at the moment - or killing people and making suits out of them depending on who you believe on the fern.
However I have found it and it is mostly true as I understand what happened. Saying it was a double engine failure is a push though. I won't go into it all.
I had Dave as my F/O for years, really calm sound guy and they got the deserved result. -
