Killing Eve started again last night, seems to have picked up where it left off!

Love the humour in the show!

Had a little time off recently and so binged a few series on Netflix.

    After Life
@Hooroo I completely agree with your assessment of After Life. Absolutely brilliant and I just had to binge it, all in one day. As you said, takes you through the full spectrum of emotions.

    Love Death & Robots
Wow, so different and bloody awesome. Was a few episodes that I found a little disappointing (4 out of the 18 ) and that's probably only because the other episodes were just so good.
Of note, as I mentioned on the Movie thread, my brother worked on Episode 13 - Lucky 13

Season 3 of Santa Clarita Diet
Love this series and it's one of the few that my wife and I both absolutely love.
This season was just as awesome as the others. Such terrific writing and I love how they mix the mundane into conversations about all sorts of wacky Zombie stuff.

    That crossed my mind too

    :::

now that it appears he's worked through his grief.

In other news The Grand Tour's Mongolia episode was probably the best TGT/ TG episode I've ever seen.

Line of Duty Series 5 starts this weekend.

Hopefully the script doesn't get too unbelievable in wrapping the whole storyline up.

    Bloody great so far

Mercurios stuff often gets too complicated and twisted for it's own good but suspend belief and it is still an enjoyable watch

So how about this for how insanely popular GOT is.

Telstra Australia are hosting events to watch the premiere of the new season in their internal Theatre rooms. Staff just need to get permission from their manager and can then wander off for 90 minutes during the work day to watch the premiere live and get back to work complete with an 'Iron Throne' replica to take a photo on.

You'd be pretty pissed if you were too busy to attend but then had colleagues come back discussing everything that has happened.

Maybe they're anticipating folking calling in sick for the next few Mondays, just incredible that this is for a TV series especially a fantasy series..feels like only yesterday that 'cool' people were mocking me for being into Warhammer and LOTR books.

finished Afterlife...agree with comments above, very good series.

Finally finished S2 of The Punisher...meh...Castle plus the 2 baddies were all but indestructible...I mean one baddie, after being beaten, shot, beaten, shot, then has a further 3 bullets put in his torso and yet still manages to walk away...usually I am ok with this genre (Banshee, S1 The Punisher) but they took this to a whole new level of BSness and was just tiresome.

    The Umbrella Academy

I thought this was cool. Like Heroes but with no edges sanded off, and far more sophisticated in its thinking. No surprise it is based on a Dark Horse comic.

Gotta say they built into some of the characters really well - particularly those who have powers you think are pretty fucking useless. Well casted, some killer tracks, and the right amount of special effects.

    Second Series should be rad.

@taniwharugby Amazon bought the rights after SyFy cancelled the series, so the gap between seasons may be longer than usual.
