@Tim His last two years of highschool, he attended Kings College. During those two years, he played for Auckland U18 and Blues U18. He has not played for Blues U20, but Hurricanes U20 after his return to the Bay.

Listening to the club rugby round-up, apparently Jack Grooby is "gone for the season" with a knee injury. Not sure whether that is just the club season or the NPC as well.

His club, Stoke has recruited a Welsh halfback - former Wales U20 player - Declan Smith - who the Mako will doubtless be looking at. @MiketheSnow

In other bad news, NZs oldest rugby club, Nelson - is only able to field a 17 man team this weekend. I think they were still beating one of the Marlborough clubs at halftime!
