In the opening title thing they show an engraving of four dragons.
Another theory is that Bran wargs into one and comes to the party (based on a prophecy that he will flyI love that, about time Branny earns his keep

Query on warging...maybe I missed an explanation somewhere. Is it..
1, transferring mind/self/spirit into another living animal and taking control of it
2,as above but even a dead animal
2, manifesting any form of choice -
@RLx31 transferring your mind into another creature. So your body is in a vegetative state, but your mind is in another's body. Can't do it to dead creatures, the Nigh King wasn't warging, just raising the dead. In the books some wargs have very close connections with a single animal, rather than being able to warg into anything like Bran. All the stark kids are wargs, they mostly do it unconsciously when asleep, so they think they are wolf dreams. In the book those sort of wargs can live on, or at least part of them can (not full intelligence), in their warg partner

@RLx31 had to watch that a few times to see the bloody things!
Thinking back to S1, where did the eggs come from?

Might just be birds but in that scene of the trailer Dany is staring out looking quite content... Methinks more dragons,I hope anyway
Re eggs.. Weren't they dormant or something can't quite remember either -
@RLx31 I guess it is fair to assume they could well have had dragon babies in 9 years (although I am not up on how long the process takes, what stage in a dragon life cycle they can produce eggs etc) that said, you'd think being big old fark off dragons, they woulda been noticed?
Be altogether too convenient for there to be more just appearing...coulda just had Ghost rip out Cersei's throat!

I'm preferring the Bran theory if somehow he is able to raise one from the dead...
-
@RLx31 he has to be useful for something right?
-
Unfortunately at this stage the fan theories are significantly better than the actual writing. There's a lot riding on this next episode.
-
Assuming (living in hope more like it ) that thereโs some awesome/clever twist to come.
Most theories seem based on the Golden Co. betraying Cersei. That seems far more believable then mor dragons showing up or Rhaegal magically healed.
Otherwise how else could they possibly win this battle? -
@taniwharugby said in GOT - there will be spoilers:
@Virgil well they shoulda lost the battle of Winterfell too, but the under dogs came through with the clutch play!
Not sure jumping Cersei and stabbing her with a valerian dagger will result in their army collapsing dead in a heap
-
Remember Drogon did disappear for a while after they made a point of talking about the dragon going on a feeding bender, so going off to have kids is fair.
Kind of makes up for them killing off the two dragons, and making Cersi think she was getting the upper hand. If there's now four instead of 1, the odds have tilted back and Kings landing is fucked.
Hopefully they have worked out how to fly behind the arrow things, that don't look that bloody moveable

@Kirwan shame Drogon? wasnt as agile as Rhaegal in being able to avoid those big arse spears.
Other way around I think.
