GOT - there will be spoilers

Unfortunately at this stage the fan theories are significantly better than the actual writing. There's a lot riding on this next episode.
-
Assuming (living in hope more like it ) that thereβs some awesome/clever twist to come.
Most theories seem based on the Golden Co. betraying Cersei. That seems far more believable then mor dragons showing up or Rhaegal magically healed.
Otherwise how else could they possibly win this battle? -

@Virgil well they shoulda lost the battle of Winterfell too, but the under dogs came through with the clutch play!
Not sure jumping Cersei and stabbing her with a valerian dagger will result in their army collapsing dead in a heap
-
Remember Drogon did disappear for a while after they made a point of talking about the dragon going on a feeding bender, so going off to have kids is fair.
Kind of makes up for them killing off the two dragons, and making Cersi think she was getting the upper hand. If there's now four instead of 1, the odds have tilted back and Kings landing is fucked.
Hopefully they have worked out how to fly behind the arrow things, that don't look that bloody moveable

@Kirwan shame Drogon? wasnt as agile as Rhaegal in being able to avoid those big arse spears.
Other way around I think.

Duno how you guys remember their names, bloody hope there aren't anymore for that reason, silly names.

@RLx31 should just go the Bananas in Pyjamas route you reckon: D1, D2 & D3

Aaaaaaah don't get me off on a tangent but BANANAS IN PYJAMAS!

saw a bit of info that the Dragons are gender fluid (unsure what their preferred pronoun is), so they can be what's needed at any given time. Don't know if that was ever in the tv series, but it adds some spice to there being more dragons around. Guessing that they'll come looking for mom/dad and will follow Dany/Jon due to family ties??
Would be super juicy if the Free Company had somehow gotten their hands on them and trained em up. Why rent out to Cersi if you can bring in extra fire power, nuke Dany and co then take over KL in its entirety?
-
@Paekakboyz while appropriate in the current social climate, that is actually plausible (although 'reptiles' arent known for that, er, ability are they?)
-
@taniwharugby who said they're reptiles? There are heaps of animals that change gender as required, something that flies and breathe fire, being gender fluid is no big shock! Anyway I don't think they were ever given sexes in the series, so probably dunt need fluidity or hermaphrodite dragons. Maybe tied into the gender neutral Targaryen language? Given names based on make and female ancestors of Dani, but not gender/sex
There's also parthenogenesis, DYI baby making. Some snakes do it
-
@Machpants hence the 'reptiles'
Assuming that as a lizard-like creature they could well be a reptile of sorts...at any rate, this is a magical world, where anything is possible.

I think Greyworm is pissed about MIssandei losing her head

They're named after the important men in Dany's life: Khal Drogo her late husband, and her two brothers Viserys and Rhaegar.
That's why she rides Drogon, rather then the other two. Drogon is also the biggest dragon (like Drogo the man), as he wasn't kept in captivity in Mereen for several years like Rhaegal and Viserion were, which stunts a dragon's growth.
John riding Rhaegal is symbolic as it was named after his secret father (not that he knew this at the time). I say "it" as dragons are gender fluid in the books, as a few other ppl noted.
It's also symbolic that Viserion was the dragon the Night King resurrected after death to fight against the other two. Viserys the man turned on his sister Dany in season 1, threatening to kill her in order to get Khal Drogo to give him his army, before getting killed by molten gold topping on his head.
