@MN5 How do you not like Kill Bill 1 but like Kill Bill 2?
Didn't really dig the chop socky shit at all and the second one had Michael Madsen and David Carradine who were both outstanding.
The chop socky was awesome and then 2 just had Carradine and Madsen dribbling on and on.

Went and watched the remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels last night.
The big blond girl was simply awful for the first 20 mins but by the end of the movie I thought she did quite a good job.
True-love liked it as she hadn't seen DRS.
3 outta 5 for me as I didn't hate it.

@Hooroo wtf, they re-made DRS, didnt even know they had haha
It's called something else though and I don't recall the name of it. It's got the big blond aussie chick and the chick from Les Miserables/Devil wear Prada
@Machpants Banging means good as in "She was Banging" so Banger is good? Clanger Bad?

A movie must be pretty unmemorable if you can’t recall it’s name...

I Looked it up: The Hustle, Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson.

That's it!
I couldn't get "The Graduate" out of my head!

In Welly and it's becoming a bit of a tradition to grab a flick, so thought we'd check out the embassy as everywhere else seems to be closed. Neat place! Other half insisted on seeing John Wick 3, I cried, such a beautiful moment.
Seems to be delving more and more into the fantasy, but a bloody great watch. Had me almost non stop giggling for the first 20 minutes, most of it nervous.
Four and a half I'll be seeing you's out of 5 no you won't's

Just re-watched Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy with Gary Oldman (warning, don't google him and find out you missed the R), channelling his inner Alec Guinness. Based on a really good book and it confirmed my view that it was a solid adaptation; however a feature length film is not really long enough to do the story justice. So, worth a watch but if you want a better experience, dig out the old TV series.

What an awful remark even if you're saying it in jest, I'm triggered, appalled and offended by it. You're clearly a Crusaders fan.

Had 2 films left on my Stan list before I shut it down (got three months free, and forgot to turn it off so have gone another 2 months
)
Logan Lucky
I'm not sure whether the slow pacing was deliberate, but it made it hard to watch. I thought that it had some great comic bits and the West Virgina drawl was amusing, but it felt like a 55 minute film stretched out.
2 out of 5 fake arms
The Legend of Tarzan
Meh. Watched this because Margot Robbie. It was kind of hodge-podge and some of the CGI was laughable. The involvement of Samuel L Jackson was as grating as Skarsgard's accent.
2 out of 5 ridiculous survivals from being beat up by a gorilla.

Wow, I really liked that film, but then I've always been a fan of Soderbergh. Tarzan was an effort to watch, even with Robbie. I don't mind Skarsgard either, he was great in Generation Kill.
Funnily enough your post just reminded me I was supposed to cancel my Stan subscription ... yesterday.
TBH, if I could have gotten a decent feed on my tv I would have kept it on purpose. It has enough different shows/movies from Netflix to make it worthwhile at least for a few months. It's fine on my laptop, but on the app on my tv it's buggy as shit.

Because it was on, i watched The Colour of Money on Wednesday. Good movie that, Paul Newman is the fucking man
Nick I really liked Logan Lucky, i thought it was really entertaining, and i liked both the little twists at the end.
