Cute blonde chicks in Sweden are a dime a dozen, at least as common as rugby players in NZ, and the NZRU can't hire all of em.. Modelling in fashion is an ultra-competitive industry where females are selected for their looks -- which can include hair colour, hair length, height, skin colour, age & weight -- and a good reason why you don't see many females over 35 employed to big contracts. (Yes fellas, there are some hot lookin' cougars over the age of 40, you'll find out, and not ALL of 'em can get modelling contracts either.) Agencies are under no obligation to employ pretty girls if they can't get them work, for the same reason some good rugby players may not make the ABs. Selectors may have other more suitable preferences, and if the rugby players who miss the cut shoot youtube videos playing the victim-card bellyaching that life isn't fair, let's get out the kleenex box and have a good sniffle. It's tough shit, but I can't feel too sorry for her -- hot 18-year-old chicks have got the world by the balls and seldom hear the word "no," which is probably why she's upset.

Memo to aging metalheads... hot 18 year old girls in the year 2015 are just not that into AC/DC. (KInda the way I seldom saw rugby players crowd surfing at Topp Twins gigs in the 1980s.) Yes, I know that's close to a high crime in some parts, and it vexes me tremendously, but it is what it is.
-

Ha well I randomly went to Sweden's Hultsfred festival in about 2008/9ish, very different from your acdc experience..and even better it turned out the kiwi accent carried a heck of a lot of weight over there! -

Not sure if anybody caught the rather awesome Paul McCartney interview in Esquire last month. It's online, definitely worth a read, here's a nice sample:

For some reason that article wouldn't work for me, his music got really cheesy after the Beatles split but as Nepia points out Lennon was a pretty horrible person and undoubtedly a green voter.

Does the article explain why he married that loon a Heather Mills? I heard they split after he bought her a new artificial leg for Xmas and told her it was a stocking filler. -

Macca's name came up in relation to a small mining accident in the South African goldfields where there was a cave in. They eventually got the last guy out but he had had one leg crushed by the fall and was likely to lose his job. "Who would want a one legged gold-digger?" he asked.
-
