From the Bay of Plenty instagram:
boprugby Here's your chance to see the Maori All Blacks in action prior to their epic game against the Flying Fijians at @rotoruastadium on Saturday, July 20. The Clayton McMillan coached side will open one of their training runs to the public on Tuesday, July 16 from 3.00pm to 4.30pm. The training will be held at Puketewhero Park on 482 Te Ngae Road Owhata! Note: This event is for the public only. Video footage of the team training is not allowed and players or coaching staff are not available for interviews. -
I get tired just from watching this game. The MABs do nothing but tackling, and when they finally get the ball, they kick it away. Sometimes that's necessary to get the Fijians away from the MABs try line, but sometimes it's outright stupid, giving possesion away.
Good to hear Glen Jackson's commentary, btw.

@Stargazer Result of only being together for a week, or struggling with the conditions?

@KiwiMurph Yeah, and no TMO. I'd swear there were a few forward passes in the lead up to the 1st Fijian try.

@Stargazer agreed.
A lot of arm tackling from the Maori.
Fiji attack has been really good - running hard and straight and great offloads

Haven’t been able to watch all of it because I’ve been busy with other stuff but from the bits I’ve seen, bloody disappointing by the Maori

@kiwiinmelb Yeah, very messy and disorganised. No doubt, the lack of good preparation has a lot to do with it, but some are just playing very poorly.
