I had to look it up, too.

      From Dictionary . com:

      What does 👀 mean?

The eyes emoji has many uses. It mostly serves to draw attention to something the user wants to highlight, especially in situations that involve drama and interpersonal tension. It can also be an emoji representation of shifty eyes or the action of side-eyeing. This emoji sometimes appears when someone finds a person attractive.

      From emojipedia:

      👀 Eyes

A pair of eyes, glancing slightly to the left on most platforms. The Google version of this emoji previously showed only a single eye, despite the name of this character being eyes (plural).

Sometimes used to indicate ‘pervy eyes’ to indicate approval of an attractive photo posted online; or ‘shifty eyes’ to convey a deceitful act.

Good test for Atu Moli against Juan Figallo. If he holds his own in the set scrums and shows what he can do in the loose, he'll be on the plane to Japan.

The Jags scrum has been ordinary in the games I watched (I didn't see the final so can't comment on that). In the two games the Chiefs played against them the Chiefs had an obvious advantage. We will find out whether the addition of Figallo makes a huge difference to the Pumas' scrum.

Figallo is a big step up, but Argies best LHs are in Europe.

Who are these Europe based Puma looseheads?

Only guy I can think of is Facundo Gigena- Leicester Tigers who is only starting to establish himself in 1st team squad

He's learning from good players over there Time will tell where his career goes

Welcome back fella, but jeez I'm getting tired of your meaningless test monologues

The absolute truth is that all games are meaningless, if one subscribes to your assessment. Sport is what you want it to be. It's a voluntary leisure pursuit. The importance of it is in the minds of every participant differently.

Calling games meaningless or friendlies is just a shit can notion for losers diminishing the achievements of winners. It's a dishonorable critique of national sport, and a deliberate insult to the winners. Let the players decide what is meaningless

You're smart enough to know that and we're smart enough to know vapid trolling.

Speaking from experience when I played on the wing it was always on the left. Not only am I left-footed but it is easier to step off your dominant foot.

There aren't many top players who are comfortable playing on both wings and you still see players kick with the in-step of their dominant foot because they can't kick with the other foot.

possibly due to the acceleration factor also, some can accelerate better off their left side and some on their right, and being a good winger is a lot about that initial acceleration to beat your first defender

But in an age where games are increasingly brutal + terrible travel itinerary you need to plan accordingly

Not every Tier 1 nation is dealing with a full set of cards to play with
Above graphic highlights where Los Pumas are at atm

To have 5 players start every game & further 4 players miss only 1 game is diabolical You've got no shot of being competitive

So do you go all out with a shallow playing pool + by far worst travel schedule in world rugby or do you pick & choose what games you prioritise

Hence ensuring you've built depth and rested key personal accordingly

The Pumas do not have "by far the worst travel schedule". You're on a group from New Zealand for goodness sake. We're literally the furthest away from all the other rugby playing nations. Your NH tour tours are both much less far and with far less time difference.

Argentina in the Rugby Championship have one more long trip than NZ or Australia, but there are direct flights to each country involved. South Africa have to travel just as far as you.

The difference is that we win away from home, so people assume that we don't have travel issues. That's not true -- we've merely learnt to overcome them. The Pumas problem is not the travel, but that they don't play well away from home, regardless of the travel time involved.

I find his whole view on "friendlies" both hilarious ( unintentionally ) and baffling.....and when they lose said friendly there's the assumption the players have had to undertake so much arduous travel. One would think judging by @Jaguares4reals posts they had to journey by boat for weeks on end and send a telegram announcing their arrival.

The Pumas will play the All Blacks twice a year so I accept it's extremely likely we'll see them beat us at some stage in the near future. Do the players just shrug their shoulders and go"ah it was only a friendly?"

Help us out oh wise one.....

Can I just say, I am still really unclear what the eyes mean.

There’s actually a thing called an emojipedia . Ffs , whatever next ? Friendlies in test rugby?

@MN5 squad rotation has been going on for years now. But there is no such thing as a friendly in test rugby. Least of all when we are involved

My analogy comes from Soccer Teams that rest & rotate for their friendlies Then role out their big guns for Qualifying games and Tournaments once they've qualified

I see it similarly for Los Pumas Go hard in TRC and look to rest & rotate during Summer Tests and EOYT with aim to develop depth & experience for younger players in a RWC cycle

Of course in these "Friendlies" you play hard but personal is very different
No wonder remembers or gives a stuff if Wales beat Argentina or if Australia beat Italy come world cup time

Will Argentina have big guns to roll out at some stage later?

                                        Also, this isn't soccer.

It's close. Argentina don't win anything in soccer either
