@Stargazer Good crowd building here in Rotorua ,ground looks good, it does do my head in, that we had a really good afternoon weather wise and you do wonder why this game was not played a few hours earlier ..can understand all the reasons why they play night rugby..first five for the Māori under 20s looked really good

@Steven-Harris The Bay has produced quite a few good 10s in recent years. Since Ihaia West: Tiaan Falcon, Lincoln McClutchie, Zarn Sullivan and the next one, still at school, will be Lattrel Smiler-Ah Kiong (Hastings Boys). I hope the HBRU will lock Smiler in asap.

First five Zarn Sullivan and second five Leo Thompson were definitely the best for the Maori U20. Lock Keelan Whitman looked good, too. Good bench impact from Tyrone Thompson, Sam Smith and Isaac Bracewell.

College Rifles and Blues dev squad player Zarn Sullivan. Looking forward to seeing him in the NPC.

@Tim Or because of the Maori U18 development games (male and female) today?

Narrow escape for the MABs there. Fiji kick charged down, but regained (was there a knock-on, too?), and almost a try.

No knock-on. Came off his boot.
No good camera angle to check whether Fijian player was in touch.

                        Not conclusive. Try stands.

                        Fiji take the lead: 7 - 0

                                    Hmm, don't think that was a knock-on.

MABs not getting the rub of the green. Lots of the 50/50 decisions going against them.

NZ Māori ball is far too slow and Rob Thomson has got no idea how to set up his outsides
