I've been watching Another Life on Netflix, basically so you don't have to. Soooo bad.

    But Katee Sackhoff.

    She's an honorary Kiwi, right?

Another Life came up on my Netflix list when I was watching a movie last night. Will avoid then.

@jegga The constant disasters in space that should have killed them multiple times. So many cliches (including a mashup of the matrix and "it was just a dream")

It reminded me a lot of Lost.

    I did not like Lost.

@jegga interesting, yeah that comparison works. Some sort of disaster of the week cliffhanger crap as well.

I did enjoy the girls spinal cord coming alive and exiting her neck. Good effect.

I never watched Lost. I used to listen to coworkers talk about the previous episode and think to myself "what a schizo show".

I liked Lost, but I've heard enough bad reviews of this show from people I trust to avoid it.

Started watching City on a Hill last night - might be the most Booooston show ever, but first episode was pretty decent.

Me either. Never saw the appeal to be honest. Too many other good shows to waste time watching stuff that doesn't interest you.

watched forst ep of The BOys last night after the rugby, and I reckon I'll keep watching!!

Urban employing a British accent, I didnt even realise which character Starr was (despite wondering who his character was in RL haha)

Pretty solid cast, Elizabeth Shue, Simon Pegg and some other familiar looking faces

Also decided to re-watch Band of Brothers, first ep in I had forgotten how much a cnut Sobel was

After the war Sobel shot himself in the head , he fucked it up and managed to blind himself . Apparently he refused to show up to reunions before he went blind because he loathed Winters so much .

Ok spoilers for one episode of Another Life

They are flying through Dark Matter which has made the crew horny. Has started with Starbuck getting her kit off, they then have a holographic rave as they realise they had actually been drugged. Fat nerd snogs the non binary queer.

Other characters have a MMF threesome with too much MM snogging. Then Katee fucks the AI who she made change appearance to her husband.

All while an Alien is mind raping another nerd.

What the hell am I watching? It’s like a car crash, can’t look away. Writers are drunk.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely sticking with it. It actually reminded me of a David Simon show and then I saw on the credits tonight that Tom Fontana is an exec producer, he did Homicide (with Simon) and Oz (created it) on HBO back in the day.

@Nepia The cast is good too. I didn't recognise Sarah Shahi when she first makes an appearance.

I recognised her straight away despite the 90s look - very pleasing!!!

Anyone watch 'Animal Kingdom'? I'm up to season 3, enjoyable watch, like a less cheesy version of Sons of Anarchy which I could never get into.

@Rembrandt I like Animal Kingdom but it's easily as cheesy as Sons of Anarchy, and gets cheesier as it goes along ... which is what SOA did too. Also, none of the seasons have been as brilliant as SOA S2 (if SOA had ended at the end of S2 it would be rated one of the best shows ever I reckon ... then they had to go to frikking Ireland).
