@Kirwan It was one of those very stupid shows where they catch the villain every week, but do something extremely stupid so he gets away. Repeat ad nauseam.

@mariner4life exactly same for me. I usually watch an hour/night tops. I also like to read. There isn't enough time to catch all the new seasons of stuff I've already enjoyed without starting new series.

@Kirwan yeah there are some series where the bad guy keeps escaping week after week after week and it often becomes boring with the same singular storyline...

Better ones have an underlying story that runs through eps while having a smaller story each week.

A series I finished, London Kills had a story that ran through both series (5 eps each) but each ep was a different crime.

@dogmeat Same, can only watch one series at a time, so end up waaaay behind. Tim put me on Breaking Bad when it started, didn't get to it for three or four years.

And I have low expectations on the story, not everything can be well written. As long as it's entertaining, I can be pretty forgiving.

I made it to the end of that Another Life, a germ of a good idea (if horribly cliched) but terribly executed. Still, lots of unintentional lol moments.

The 3 shows I am currently watching at the moment are all on SoHo, so that means 1 episode per week.

People's viewing habits have changed with streaming/downloading so binge watching is much more common. Still need to find the time though.

@Kirwan are a few series like that, that I watch, where story is limited, but they entertain me (One I started recently, Blood and Treasure, Seal Team, Killjoys etc)

    I am entertained!

    I barely watch normal TV.

i think it is almost guaranteed i will never end up watching the classics i have missed, like The Wire (yes Nepia, i know) and Breaking Bad

Watch Breaking Bad. Probably the best series that I have watched. Sopranos is up there, but it is great entertainment.

@Snowy I agree, unbelievably good story and acting. Even the wife loved that show, and it's pretty dark (which is not her cup of tea)

My wife loved it too - but she does like dark plots.

We discard a lot of shows but were hooked on that.

Which reminds me, I need to finish watching the other seasons of Better Call Saul. Equally as good.

Enjoyed the scene with the dolphin in the boys , the airliner scene was pretty shocking though. Starr is a great evil character .

Struggling through season 5 of Vikings. Has this series jumped the shark? I'm thinking probably yes but Lagertha is still worth watching. What to do?

So many WTF moments in this show, thoroughly enjoyed it. Urbans comedy accent actually makes it better IMO, enjoyed the scene with Starr and Urban "I love that accent!"

The gill fingering, eating ass death, C4 ass delivery, the list goes on. Great alternative view of The Justice League Seven

Malcolm Gladwell did a story about criminal profilers , their success rate is not actually very good if fact it’s pretty shit . One of the worst profiling he mentioned was the Washington sniper , they got almost everything wrong about him .
