The 3 shows I am currently watching at the moment are all on SoHo, so that means 1 episode per week.

People's viewing habits have changed with streaming/downloading so binge watching is much more common. Still need to find the time though.

@Kirwan are a few series like that, that I watch, where story is limited, but they entertain me (One I started recently, Blood and Treasure, Seal Team, Killjoys etc)

    I am entertained!

    I barely watch normal TV.

i think it is almost guaranteed i will never end up watching the classics i have missed, like The Wire (yes Nepia, i know) and Breaking Bad

Watch Breaking Bad. Probably the best series that I have watched. Sopranos is up there, but it is great entertainment.

@Snowy I agree, unbelievably good story and acting. Even the wife loved that show, and it's pretty dark (which is not her cup of tea)

My wife loved it too - but she does like dark plots.

We discard a lot of shows but were hooked on that.

Which reminds me, I need to finish watching the other seasons of Better Call Saul. Equally as good.

Enjoyed the scene with the dolphin in the boys , the airliner scene was pretty shocking though. Starr is a great evil character .

@mariner4life exactly same for me. I usually watch an hour/night tops. I also like to read. There isn't enough time to catch all the new seasons of stuff I've already enjoyed without starting new series.

yeah, i probably read as much as i watch TV as well.

Struggling through season 5 of Vikings. Has this series jumped the shark? I'm thinking probably yes but Lagertha is still worth watching. What to do?

So many WTF moments in this show, thoroughly enjoyed it. Urbans comedy accent actually makes it better IMO, enjoyed the scene with Starr and Urban "I love that accent!"

The gill fingering, eating ass death, C4 ass delivery, the list goes on. Great alternative view of The Justice League Seven

Malcolm Gladwell did a story about criminal profilers , their success rate is not actually very good if fact it’s pretty shit . One of the worst profiling he mentioned was the Washington sniper , they got almost everything wrong about him .

John Douglas? Mindhunter was one of my favourite books. Found it absolutely fascinating when I first read it.

    @Bones yep

Wayne Williams, convicted killer and suspected serial killer, is thought to be responsible for nearly 30 deaths in the infamous Atlanta child murders. This 40-year-old tragedy is the subject of the podcast Atlanta Monster. The acclaimed FBI criminal profiler who got inside this killer's head is retired special agent John Douglas, whose work inspired the Netflix series Mindhunter. In this special bonus episode, Atlanta Monster host Payne Lindsey interviews Douglas about his work on Atlanta's Missing & Murdered case.

Was on the insomniac podcast mentioned in the podcast thread.

Blade excepted, I generally loathe superhero stuff, but The Boys was good fun. Probably because it's mostly about how celebrities are fluffybunnies. The guy who played Homelander was really good - perfect mix of smarmy, corny charm and sociopathy.

Antony Starr. He was great, so creepy.

Didn’t take itself too seriously, was fun.

    (SPOILERS)

BTW, The Boys was renewed for a second season, and apparently was one of Amazon's most streamed shows.

I'll reserve judgement until I see it. I can pretty much quote all 4 series, but reboots are a tricky thing. Also not that enamoured with modern times, playing on the vagaries of history is a key part of Bladder IMO. A modern time one will be very political statement based, I reckon.

Hope they don't screw it up.

There was talk some years back of a new Blackadder series set in a '70's heavy metal band. Tony Robinson was to play a drummer called Bald Rick.
