@Rapido I think there may be more at play than we know. This game was officially a home test for Tonga, but it was played in Samoa. Maybe, one of the reasons to play this game in Samoa was that the stadium in Nukuʻalofa wasn't up to the required standard, and then it appears that the stadium in Apia isn't either. I'm just guessing, but there may be factors we don't know about.

I have taken this consideration on board. But having now read a stuff article which references a Cooper Vuna tweet as well as Sam Lousi - it appears to me to just be a Tier 2 moan.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/international/114579332/players-slam-world-rugby-as-atrocious-conditions-mar-apia-international

Moan if they don't play enough games, moan when they play a game. Moan if no one visits the PIs, moan when a game is played in the PIs.

Not the groundsman's fault, not whoever controls the gameload of Apia Park's fault, not nature's fault, not God's fault, not the managers of the 2 teams fault. World Rugby is the body that must explain the bizarre phenoemon of water and soil (and rugby boots) turning grass into mud.

Yeah it’s tedious. There are proper channels for complaints. Then there is Twitter.

World Rugby says 'STFU you whining poms, I mean PIs'

Samoa and Tonga had the option of playing last week's game elsewhere - but turned it down

Samoa and Tonga had the option of playing last week's game elsewhere - but turned it down

After last weekend's match between Samoa and Tonga at Apia Park, players and fans alike were quick to take to social media to criticise the conditions. World Rugby, however, offered both sides the option of playing the match elsewhere.

Tectonic / continental drift must be be really speeding up. Looking forward to some of those Indian Ocean sunsets next week - it's like being on a cruise!

And yes @Bones Sam Louise can bugger off.

Honestly, does anybody edit this shit anymore?

Tonga look clueless with the ball and are pretty passive defensively.

    Japan now lead 24-0

Japan's victory vs Fiji was more convincing IMO as the opposition's quality was better.

This should be a good curtain raiser. That clip though! 😳 A few high tackles that would get you sent off now.

@Bones Jones and Umaga are the coaches of the sides, they aren't playing, Carlos said that on the breakdown.
