England's feeble top order actually overperforming a bit again yesterday, but still England were smashed. Imagine when their top order reverts to their mean. Against this persistent bowling g attack. England will be a shell of a team by the end if this series.

@Donsteppa said in Ashes 2019: Bancroft would have been at home in some of our less celebrated opening partnerships. 10 tests, a high score of 82 and and average of 28.20 so far. Oh please as far as mediocre test openers go he is world class. If Bancroft is a Kiwi we would be saying Blair who?

That was a nasty hit. Head turned, neck exposed and real pace from Archer. What a day though, plenty of wickets, 250+ runs and some life in the wicket and bowling.

What an amazing day. Only watched the hour highlights , what a great hour of telly. Can tell it was a package produced by SkyUk, as SkyNZ have a poor touch with cricket highlights, don't create a narrative of the things between the wickets and boundaries.
