Great effort from Santos
1 & 5 were Santos rounds, 3 & 4 were clear Jones rounds. I had Santos winning the second round as well.. unfortunately only one of the judges saw it that way

Great fight. Shame about the knee, but class to blow it off and not take it as an excuse.
As much as I root against Jones he's nails.
The card lived up to the hype, with some classic knockouts.
Our boy Marshman is on borrowed time. Hasn't learned anything new in his time in the UFC. Easy to work out.
Allen looked all class.
They should clone Sanchez for the US Army. Chiesa was dominant and unfazed.

Askren is way too cocky for a guy who is a throwback to the early days of MMA where they would pit different fighting disciplines against each other. He is a very good wrestler but Masvidal knew exactly what he would do because he is one-dimensional. Guys like Khabib show you can be a very good wrestler as well as a good striker. -
Kiwi Dan Hooker getting a KO today:
I was expecting Vick to be an awkward fight but Hooker's timing was too much for him. Hopefully Hooker's next fight will be against someone ranked around 10.
Leon Edwards is improving fast. He should be ranked in the top five. I want to see him have a chance to hit Masvidal back.

Vick needs to hang it up. He's a two-time golden gloves boxer ffs. If you're getting pieced up like this too often against "perceived" lesser strikers, it is probably time to give it away.
However, on what was a fucken snorefest of a card Hooker was a stand out. He's great on the mic too!

I thought it was a good Main Card.
Arlovski looked sharp against Rothwell in a tough, tough match.
Trinaldo robbed.
Hooker looked great.
Hardy is a beast.
So too Harris.
And Edwards put on a masterclass.

I msut say though, watching when you know the results and not live just isnt the same.
In other news, CMac seems to be saying all the right things after his recent off the rails ... although maybe that's just for the sentence ..

Agree playing flanker at the level he did plus being 34 probably means he’s fairly broken. -
The China fight night was more entertaining than I was expecting.
Zhang ran through Andrade to become the first Chinese champ. She looks big for the division. Very accurate when she swarmed her too, great elbows and knees
But the fight I cared about was Kai Kara-France.
Because of his power he has a great highlight reel. This fight went the distance and probably helped his reputation more than another big KO.
I thought he clearly won all 3 rounds but De La Rosa was always dangerous and never went awayHe wants to fight in Melbourne in 5 weeks. I would assume that's unlikely (a shame because I'll be going to that one)

..and it looks like they have another UFC fighter - Brad Riddell
Not officially confirmed but it's been reported that he'll be making his UFC debut in Melbourne. He has a Muay Thai background.
