The China fight night was more entertaining than I was expecting.

Zhang ran through Andrade to become the first Chinese champ. She looks big for the division. Very accurate when she swarmed her too, great elbows and knees

But the fight I cared about was Kai Kara-France.

Because of his power he has a great highlight reel. This fight went the distance and probably helped his reputation more than another big KO.
I thought he clearly won all 3 rounds but De La Rosa was always dangerous and never went away

He wants to fight in Melbourne in 5 weeks. I would assume that's unlikely (a shame because I'll be going to that one)

Auckland's City Kickboxing is building a good roster

Not officially confirmed but it's been reported that he'll be making his UFC debut in Melbourne. He has a Muay Thai background.

There's a few videos on youtube of him.

@Duluth Not UFC related but they also have 2 promising heavyweight boxers Hemi Ahio and Junior Fa as well.

A couple of hype videos are up for UFC 243

I'm looking forward to Hooker vs Iaquinta as much as the main event

The kiwi-ish title fight should be fun too

Hyped for this. Like both fighters for different reasons but I'm leaning towards Izzy for support and prediction.

Same. Will probably cheer for Adesanya because it’s better for the sport in NZ.
Hoping for a big card in Auckland next year

Any predictions for the main event?

                        I have no strong opinion.

Maybe Whittaker? I don’t think he’ll let the fight stay at the Adesanya range.

If he's fully fit, then Whittaker.

If not, Adesanya will exploit it quickly.

Al v Dan could be the fight of the night though.

Adesanya could've knocked Whittakers block off to be fair after that knock-out, and its the measure of the man he didn't - stunning victory

                                    Incredible results for city kickboxing

                                    Adesanya’s striking is freakish

Hooker I thought might squeak a victory against Al, but he did far better than that. So happy about that result, that’s huge for his career.

Riddell’s debut was entertaining, one of the more enjoyable fights on the card. Shame he didn’t quite get the finish

Aussie crowd was strangely quiet until the main event. Not a great night for their fighters either
