He has been moved upstairs at Montpellier so might be keen to do more hands-on coaching. Cotter would be the type of forwards coach we need.

im guessing that might go close to getting him over the line if true ,
But depending on what teams the rest put together of course.
Foster , Schmidt, Tony brown , might be difficult to beat

One assumes this is what Tew referred to earlier in the week where the "self-selecting" applicants have been kept in the loop about proceedings. Hardly him being offered the job as the headline suggests.
Good to see him in the mix he has the best CV.
