They've had Rocky movies on Foxtel this week. Rocky movies are awesome. Sure they got worse as they went on, but some of them are awesome. I think Clubber Lang is my favourite Rocky "villian"

by the time we hit III and IV, everyone was fucking ripped. Stallone was ripped to bits. In IV, Lundgren is 1) fucking massive, and 2) fucking ripped. Even Mr T got himself pretty lean.

Well why don't you go and push pencils for as long as Dillon and see how your arms look.

Through gritted teeth I will admit his character in predator was a tad irritating.

Mind you the guy who played Billy was a psycho ex porn star who threatened to beat up virtually everyone on set apparently.

The Vacation - the Griswalds visit Walley World, part 2.

Had very low expectations because I was never a fan of National Lampoon but I enjoyed this low brow predictable movie very much.

Good fun.

Saw secret in their eyes, very average . Nicole looked hotter than usual which was balanced by Julia Roberts looking feral .

The Hungover Games - a parody mashup of The Hangover and The Hunger Games (obviously).

Stupid. Utterly stupid. But I thoroughly enjoyed it, because it was late at night, had boobies, and a load of taking the piss out of the movies (in this one, Doug is gay). IMDB rates it at 3.2

The Argentinian original was very good. Won Oscar for Best Foreign Language film.

I looked at the trailer for the US version and it seems to miss the point.

Original was set against Argentina's disappeared and brutal regime. Latest seems to just be standard US star vehicle

Dogmeat the latest is set not long after 9/11 , that's the background for the plot tie in with the original . I thought that part was done well , it just seemed a bit lacking otherwise . Decent twist though .

Billy Ray is a talented screenwriter and director (Shattered Glass and Breach were both good). The trailer looked terrible though. Lots of bullshit tough cop cliches.

funny, i saw the trailer for it and thought it would be good. Guess I'll wait for it to be on Foxtel.

I have this weird thing for Kidman, i find her very attractive (and no one can understand it)

Just watched the trailer and the comments make a bit more sense now , having seen it I can tell you it looks like a different film to the one I saw if you think you got an idea of the plot from the trailer. Which is weird because these days 90% of the time you don't need to see the film after watching the trailer. Considering the cast it had it was just a bit flat apart from Kidman, the actual story is good and it has a decent enough twist.
