<p>Stupid. Utterly stupid. But I thoroughly enjoyed it, because it was late at night, had boobies, and a load of taking the piss out of the movies (in this one, Doug is gay). IMDB rates it at 3.2</p> -

<p>The Argentinian original was very good. Won Oscar for Best Foreign Language film.</p>

<p>I looked at the trailer for the US version and it seems to miss the point.</p>

<p>Original was set against Argentina's disappeared and brutal regime. Latest seems to just be standard US star vehicle</p> -

<p>Just watched the trailer and the comments make a bit more sense now , having seen it I can tell you it looks like a different film to the one I saw if you think you got an idea of the plot from the trailer. Which is weird because these days 90% of the time you don't need to see the film after watching the trailer. Considering the cast it had it was just a bit flat apart from Kidman, the actual story is good and it has a decent enough twist.</p> -

<p>Wow. I didn't think anything with Jennifer Lawrence as leading lady could be terrible, but Serena proves me wrong. Her and Bradley Cooper sleepwalk through the dullest, plodder of a movie in ages, only broken up by people getting their throats slit.</p>

<p>Grand finale: Cooper vs Smoky Mountains Panther. Cooper shoots panther, wounded panther then rips Cooper's neck open and they die in each other's arms. Guess that is an honourable draw? Then Lawrence puts on her best slinky gown, curls up in bed, and sets her house on fire. Fire 1, Lawrence 0.</p> -

<p>Creed - Rocky 7. Wallace from the Wire (and FNL) makes an admirable Creed Jr and Stallone is at times pretty funny as Rocky playing Mickey.</p>

<p>By my count this is Rocky 7, I look forward to Creed 7/Rocky 14 in 20 years time.</p>

Billy Bathgate, dead calm , eyes wide shut. There's more I think and good on her.<br>
Edit, malice as well. Good movie that. I think she might have got nekkid in that film where she played the batshit crazy weather girl too.<br><br>
