I like this Chiefs squad they are going to be a real contender in 2020 maybe the top NZ side.
I think an issue this year could be in style adaptation - Gatland may enforce his style or he may try to adapt his to the Chiefs style of the Rennie/Cooper years.
I'm hoping it's not, but it could be a dud year due to that. Although, Rennie had the team playing his style pretty much immediately.

Barnes said that Gatland will be giving the coaches plenty of responsibility so I doubt he'll be making radical changes. He (Barnes) was very relieved to be the forwards coach again.
The interest will be whether Matson is asked to have the Chiefs using the rush defence.

Yep. You have to have a massive amount of luck to not be dipping deeply into the squad bucket.
Mind you, some gems have been unearthed because of that. -

And those players tend to be involved anyway as injuries are a given throughout a season. Each of the 5 teams will have a larger pool of players involved during the preseason so it will be interesting to see who they are.
No FB memories, friend suggestions, sponsor ads, you name it!
