These always brighten my day and I've learned to come to terms with the fact at no point in my life have I ever been or will be as cool as this 10 year old Japanese girl.

@Hooroo Yup, and that the reserve first five (assuming that's what the 22 is) gets on the field early!

looked this up following a podcast I was listening to.

Apparently NASA require you to have an engineering degree to drive it, and driving sessions limited to about 35 mins, during which time you travel next to f#ck all distance burning a f#ck ton of fuel.

Team claims it set a ‘Cannonball Run’ record | CNN

In a feat of engineering, human will and blatant disregard of speed limits, three men claim they broke the record for the “Cannonball Run,” a cross-country drive from New York to Los Angeles.

@Bones did the Weka get it?

I had never seen them in the wild until a few years ago, just in a carpark at Tapeka Point, 2 of them just cruising about.

My cat had killed a couple of weasels when we were renting for a while, which was great as at night you could hear Kiwi calling in the bush.

Fully grown Kiwis are formidable, but it's getting them past egg stage and chicks that is the problem.
