Where's the rockstar assistant we were promised by Foz before he was appointed? Is Steven Tyler looking after the Backline?

@sparky I think they're still trying to get Brad Mooar. Not sure whether he counts as a rockstar though.

A bit harsh to blame Foster for claims that Marc Hinton made

What was Brad Mooar's role with the Crusaders?

So the roles would possibly be:

    Foster - Head coach & Selector/Attack
    Plumtree - Forwards & Selector
    Feek - Scrum/Set-piece
    McLeod - Defence

    Fox - Selector

    Mooar - Backs/Skills?

No mention of David Hill (kicking/skills).

Scott McLeod's eyebrows are getting out of control.
That's about all I have to say at this stage.

@Kirwan From a Blues perspective of course. Hard to not seem smarmy when you are so far ahead....

Robertson doesn't come across smug like Mooar does, and he's far more responsible for the Crusaders success than Mooar.

I'd imagine Mooar has always been the nice, jovial coach at every team he's coached at. Until he had to work under a nicer, more jovial coach in Razor.

Brad Mooar confirmed as part of Ian Foster's coaching "Dream Team"

    https://www.allblacks.com/news/brad-mooar-confirmed-for-all-blacks-role

The confirmation of Mooar completes Ian Foster’s assistant coaching team. He will look after the attack in the coaching set-up. As announced last week, John Plumtree will look after the forwards, Greg Feek is scrum coach and Scott McLeod will look after the defence.

Brad Mooar said: “To be joining the All Blacks coaching staff next year is an incredibly humbling and proud moment for my family and me. The opportunity to help coach your country comes around very rarely, so I would like to thank the Scarlets club for allowing me to join the All Blacks."

Jesus Christ. A long way from the old days of Henry, Hanson and Smith.

Seriously underwhelmed by this lot of coaches.
Seriously concerned for the next couple of years of AB rugby - its been a heck of a ride from late 2004 through this to year. Ridiculous amount of success. Maybe the last golden age of world rugby.

Did you read Razor's list though?

I don't think this crop is that bad save for the retention of McLeod, but I rate Plumtree more than most and can see pathways for Gatland/Schmidt/Razor himself to be involved before this cycle is over.

Razor and Brad Mooar don’t get along. That’s why he didn’t go with him. Apparently they clashed a lot , but we’re both professional enough to put the team first.

Wow. When you see the calibre of the coaches who walked away or said no thanks, this 'dream team' looks particularly average. Foster, Macleod, Plumtree, Feek, Mooar.

    Yay not.
