The Mandalorian was pretty bloody good. Great visuals, cool little stories.

Would have been amazing if they had upped the rating, but again, I understand i am not the primary audience.

I'm with i think it was @taniwharugby who thinks Gina Carano is hot. Dangerously scary hot.

Very enjoyable show, thought Gina's casting was great, nice to have a kickass female character who actually looks the part.

If you want to see more of her then see Haywire the film Soderbergh wrote specifically for her.

I didn't realise that it was the last episode ... I assume it's coming back next year.

Just watched the 1st episode of BBC's Dracula adapted by the genius that is Mark Gattis & Steve Moffat. 4.5/5

Utterely bonkers, camp, scary, ominous, funny and threratening at the same time. They've set it in it's origonal location and time but updated it without being overly-PC or deviating too far from the characters in the book.

If it carries on in this vein, it could well be the one of the best things the BBC have done for ages.

The Mrs and I have really been enjoying 'Wellington Paranormal' . First season was a little hit and miss but the 2nd was good right through. Police Ten 7 laid the platform for Aussie viewers, I imagine it could do well in the UK too

The first episode was really fucking cool

The 2nd episode was absolutely fucking terrible. I'll give it the 3rd tonight to decide whether or not i continue.

    @mariner4life I have 1 ep to go.

Is a decent watch, if you keep watching you will see b00bees, if that kind of thing floats your boat...

I found it a bit difficult to know whether what you were seeing was a flashback or current timeline initially.

@Victor-Meldrew I watched ep 1 too, was mad alright, interesting enough for me to keep watching though

@taniwharugby it's going to take more than tits to rescue E2.

Game of Thrones has set the fantasy bar pretty high. And while i don't expect everything to have that level of budget, or visuals, i am going to need some sort of compelling character and storyline. 8 episodes is not enough to be wasting them

If the bard sidekick is in the next one i am turning it off.

The one where you meet the O'Leary's mum is gold . One of the Topp twins is her mum saying she never had a boy around but was always texting her "softball friends".

yeah he is in it for most of the eps IIRC, to varying degrees.

He was less annoying for me than some others.

Its good when Caville is on screen, but the actors are very hit and miss. It's only 8 episodes and have watched worse.

Don't compare it to Game of Thrones and you'll enjoy it more. Less flattering comparison I've heard is Xena/Hercules with better production values.

I bristled at that, but it's actually pretty spot on.

I'm not comparing, they are different. It's just that 2nd episode looked and felt like all the terrible fantasy i have seen in the past (Zena isn't a bad comparison. Also the Sword of Truth stuff that suuucked)

As i said, I'll watch again tonight.

Okay episode 3 and we're back on. That was cool.

Didn't expect to see Quazimodo Corleone's titties.

Started 'Mr Inbetween' thanks to recommendations on here. I liked it, the Mrs not so much, hoping she gets hooked next episode.

The Mrs and I binged out way through the second series of the Lost In Space reboot.

While not too keen on the series to begin with, Mrs Stockcar started to really enjoy it once it got over it's slow start.

Better plotted than the first series - some good character development on Dr Smith, and less of her getting away with being evil by other people being incompetent.

Could have used more Robot though.

A good cliffhanger ending setting us up for series 3.
