If the bard sidekick is in the next one i am turning it off.

yeah he is in it for most of the eps IIRC, to varying degrees.

He was less annoying for me than some others.

    I've started with The Witcher

The first episode was really fucking cool

The 2nd episode was absolutely fucking terrible. I'll give it the 3rd tonight to decide whether or not i continue.

Its good when Caville is on screen, but the actors are very hit and miss. It's only 8 episodes and have watched worse.

Don't compare it to Game of Thrones and you'll enjoy it more. Less flattering comparison I've heard is Xena/Hercules with better production values.

I bristled at that, but it's actually pretty spot on.

I'm not comparing, they are different. It's just that 2nd episode looked and felt like all the terrible fantasy i have seen in the past (Zena isn't a bad comparison. Also the Sword of Truth stuff that suuucked)

As i said, I'll watch again tonight.

Okay episode 3 and we're back on. That was cool.

Didn't expect to see Quazimodo Corleone's titties.

Started 'Mr Inbetween' thanks to recommendations on here. I liked it, the Mrs not so much, hoping she gets hooked next episode.

The Mrs and I binged out way through the second series of the Lost In Space reboot.

While not too keen on the series to begin with, Mrs Stockcar started to really enjoy it once it got over it's slow start.

Better plotted than the first series - some good character development on Dr Smith, and less of her getting away with being evil by other people being incompetent.

Could have used more Robot though.

A good cliffhanger ending setting us up for series 3.

The world is so weird. I'm thinking 'haha, she looks like she's standing in a huge vajayjay, what a funny error' then you discover it is actually supposed to be that. My knowledge of her is limited to Austin powers and Iron Man

    Jett

Carla Gugino stars in this cinemax thriller
As Daisy Kowalski, fresh out of jail and
Retired from her life of crime, she's
Lured back into the game by
A bunch of high powered criminals.

Gugino is quite the actress and
    Unsurprisingly provides an absolutely
Great performance, as well as cutting an
    Impressive figure on screen.
    Not one to miss.
Oh did I mention Carla Gugino?

Just watched the 1st episode of BBC's Dracula adapted by the genius that is Mark Gattis & Steve Moffat. 4.5/5

Utterely bonkers, camp, scary, ominous, funny and threratening at the same time. They've set it in it's origonal location and time but updated it without being overly-PC or deviating too far from the characters in the book.

If it carries on in this vein, it could well be the one of the best things the BBC have done for ages.

I'd have upped it to 5/5 after the second episode, but back to 4/5 after the final installment

Being it's cinemax and Carla Gugino isn't shy, one assumes she gets nekkid?

Only watched episode one and she provides a stupifying array of eye candy. Including a nuddy (but well placed) perch on a window ledge.

Anyone read the first letter on each line?

@Bones I started Jett, seemd a good series but I never finished, must have been around the time of one of my 'must watch' series? Must re-visit.

    Finished The Witcher.

Solid series, a couple of 'meh' episodes, but largely watchable, set up for S2.

Anyone been watching current series of Vikings? I havent started, thought I'd wait to watch in one go.
