@antipodean The missus really likes that show but I just found it too dark (and real!)
Hang on , aren’t you an accountant? When you say too real how many cartels are you laundering money for?
Some! They seem nice though...
That’s ok then .

I watched S1 of Knightfall.
For the most part i really enjoyed it. Some excellently gory deaths. An interesting take on the Grail legend. Enough historical figures to keep things in place.
It was just a little light in the acting and storyline areas to keep it from being any better than good.
S2 doesn't appear to be on Netflix which is annoying as fuck.

Watched first two episodes of that 'I'm not okay with this' thats been hyped up on netflix. Apparently number 1 for NZ....
Well it was pretty bloody meh....and I'm not okay with that
@JK I stuck with it and enjoyed it. The last episode in particular is pretty bloody good and sets up another season really well.
What I liked especially were the short episodes at 30 odd minutes.
Yeah the 20min episodes is quite appealing.
I will give it a few more then
Do that. I liked where the last episode was leading. The investment in time wasn’t onerous so why not?
One question for anyone who’s watched the whole season: when is it actually set? It was ambiguous.
Finished it and yeah a bit meh.
agree with the time it was set thing, mix of music and fashion styles etc makes it very hard to tell

@Bones Have you finished The Outsider? You obviously need to watch the post-credit scene.
Yep! Be funny if you switched off at the credits eh.
Bloody good, but can't help feeling a little flat at the ending, not sure they could have done any better.
:::
Did you get what the story was they made up? How did they swing it past the prosecutor?

I haven't read the novel so don't know how that ending compared to this show. If I have a criticism is that they rushed the ending a little bit which probably adds to the confusion.
To answer your question, this is from Wiki which makes sense.

Yunis contacts Hayes and implicates Jack and the entity. Claude and the investigators, with help from Jeannie and Glory, coordinate their stories. Hayes holds a press conference to exonerate Terry and re-open Frankie's case.
Hayes appears to be looking at footage from the cave festival so I can only assume Yunis explained to him that the real Claude was with them all night.

@RoninWC In NZ, it was on SoHo (HBO).
Thanks @Bovidae for the reply.
As I'm in Aus and HBO stuff normally shows up on Foxtel and I found it. Cool, downloading all the episodes now.I assume this is about the death of an 11 boy but the prime suspect has an ironclad alibi?

So with all this chatter about "The Outsider" series, can I ask, which platform are you gentlemen watching this series?
I've looked for it but can't seem to find it.
Thanks.
I had the same issue.
Any chance that when a show is highlighted here that that platform is mentioned? It saves a lot of time and isn’t something that always comes up on a google search.
Especially when a show is named something like The Outsider which is really overused. -

With so many different platforms now, trying to find something worth watching or worse, a specific series, can be a challenge.
I mentioned before I have Netflix, Stan and Prime as well as Foxtel. These days the content on Foxtel usually lags behind the others so when I read about a series here that piques my interest, I usually look for it on one of the streaming services forgetting all about Foxtel.
It has been mentioned before but a good cross-platform search function would be worth its weight in gold when you consider the increasing number of streaming services.
So yes, in future, please try to refer to the platform/service when mentioning a series.

I have 2 eps to go for The Outsider, were a few eps where I felt it got a bit wayward, but got back on track and picked up again.
5 eps into Hunters (Amazon) and am enjoying it.

I use https://www.justwatch.com/au to find where something is streaming, which is correct maybe 95% of the time.
