@Kirwan I don't know what's going on with racing. Someone told me you can still play golf in Australia (but a lot of courses have closed). I think there's a lot of countries making a mess of this situation.
@DrivingMaul the point is they were making it as safe as any other activity that is allowed under this lockdown.

So now the UFC are tentatively saying May 9th
This will be mostly US based fighters. A few rumours that they are looking at Florida (State Govt has made positive noises)
Then hopefully 'Fight Island' will be ready for the international fighters not long after thatFights pencilled in for May 9th:

Florida Governor put WWE on the 'Essential' list so fingers crossed.

Confirmation that UFC 249 will be in Florida with no audience on the 9th of May
Two more cards at the same location on the 13th and 16th. No announcement on fights yet.
Another US card on the 23rd with no location confirmed. I suspect they are hoping that Vegas will allow this at the UFC headquarters
'Fight Island' should be ready in June for cards with international fighters. Fighters will be spread amongst multiple hotels and the octagon will be on a beach.
I think there'll be some Kiwi's & Aussies on the first island event because it'll happen around the time of the postponed Perth card -

So many good fights on this card. Despite that, most of my picks are the favourites.
The only non favourite I've gone for (ignoring the early pre-lims) is Cruz over Cejudo.
It'll be a massive surprise if the main event is a dud.
Ferguson is a freak. I think he'll enjoy the chaos of a Gaethje fight and he'll get a stoppage in the 3rd. Probably an elbow.. -

Some good bouts on the Main Card
The UFC fighters who've fought in the past 8 days haven't spent Lockdown eating and watching Netflix.
Very impressed.
Will be interesting to see if other sportsmen return to work as prepared.
