Solid thread diversion... This was my ride at uni, a bargain at $350 - though consumed about $50 of gas to get between Welly and Palmy!
I remember getting 17 mates inside for the trip from Massey down to town at Easter Tourney in 1997...in hindsight, maybe not my finest hour...

My daughter is an adult splits her time between home and her bf parents house. She’s never home in the weekend which I like. But soon to be teen son is a fucken night owl and his room is next to ours - with our next house I could give 2 shits about a pool or deck. It’s all about the distance the kids rooms are from mine. I’ve spent far too much money on wd40 this past year.

Nice! Is that a Honda Prelude? I had a 198? Cream Honda Accord as my first car. 11k's to the litre and I never saw the fuel gauge above 1/4 tank 99% of the time.

My mates bought a Kingswood station wagon on the last day of school for $500 to go to the Mt for the holidays.
We took it for a blat before we all agreed to put $100 in. Column shift and it rose 12 inches at the nose when we got to about 80km. I decided not to hand over a hundy choosing to hang out in Wellies for the holidays. Good thing too as the boys only made it to Wairoa. But that car would be worth $10000-$15000 now in the condition it was in then.

Quality! I had no idea they were so valuable these days! We sold ours with a really shifty transmission (we were open about it), felt like it was on the verge of falling apart. So many good memories though. We drove the thing from Welly to Queenstown once, up the mountain and everything. The gas probably cost us more than flying

Yeah I’ve fucked it up. Trying to find 4012 where I put them instead of 4016 .... and it’s tee off time now ... so I’ll be back to sort in around 115 shots ... unless one of the other mods who knows what the fuck they are doing us willing to sort .....
