Hmmm.. I just realised thats all the favourites. Yan/Aldo was the toughest pick.. I'm fairly confident in Volkanovski

@Duluth Hard to disagree.

I think Rose is by far the better fighter but I'm not sure her head is right. She seems like such a reluctant fighter.

Volkansovski vs Holloway is probably the purist fight. 2 guys at the height if their game. If Max comes to fight....its too close to call for me.

I think Usman is an elite champion. He could be there for a long time. He's a bit like Khabib. Not always the most fun fights to watch but he gets shit done and mostly, efficiently. Masvidal is not a chump but let's face it if he gets the win none of us know anything about the fight game. He's not a grappler/wrestler in the classical sense still has subs on his record but Usman is a state champion wrestler. I think it'll be either Usman gets rocked in the first for the upset or it's a snooze fest with usman holding the dominant positions throughout the match to the decision.

Yan is too young and too smart for Aldo.

RIbas gets the easy win but hopefully doesn't do too much damage....

How did you guys score the rounds in the Volkanovski/Holloway fight?

I was expecting a 48-47 win to Holloway

1 & 2 Holloway
4 & 5 Volkanovski

I had Holloway edging round 3 but I can see how an argument could be made for Volkanovski in that round.
I thought the commentary was too positive for Holloway during round 3

The judges scorecards were a surprise. Two of them went 3,4 & 5 to Volkanovski... ok, not what I scored but I can see how that is possible.

The judge that gave it to Holloway gave him 1,2 & 5. So all three judges gave round 3 to Alexander. Did anyone else think Max won round 5?
