Bacon is massively overrated
I used to be a big eater of bacon, but it’s pretty rare these days.
A treat I like maybe a couple of times a year, pancakes with some scrambled eggs and bacon on top, drizzled with a bit of maple syrup. Love it.

This one is very much in the unpopular realm, but I think pets are massively overrated and just a nuisance.

i like the really simple "Classic Albums" ones actually. Just musicians and normally the producer talking about how the sound of an album comes about.
Those are great.
I watched The Kink's The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society a few weeks back. Really enjoyable. Depending on your definition, Ray Davies might have written the first heavy metal song back in 1964.
Or Dave Davies guitar did.
Add in Pete Quaife's bass playing. That bloke was seriously under-rated and way up there with Entwhistle and co.

I go on and off bacon. Sometimes it seems like the most incredible food that has ever been invented. Other times it's a bit sickening.

Any movie after the original Star Wars is crap and the original movie should be referred to as Star Wars.
The whole franchise is pretty crap, and people's love for it is based off the nostalgia of how awesome it was when it came out compared to the shit they used to offer them as kids. Star Wars is a shmaltzy cheesy wannabe romantic fantasy, with shit science, and the worst fight scenes ever. Empire is slightly better cos of the huge fucking walkers and we like bad guys winning, but then ewoks and everything after that is beneath contempt.
And Start Trek is even worse, aliens = human with bumpy head? FFS look under the seas too see something to base your aliens on!

Fireworks
Yeah I don't get fireworks eh. Whoopdeedoo.
In general I'm not much of a fan of fireworks but I saw some awesome ones coming of the old castle set to classical music at Pamplona one year. The problem is I now compare all fireworks against them.
In any normal year I can see fireworks pretty much every night during the middle and every week for most of the rest of the year as I live near Darling Harbour. Good for when I have guests but I just use it so I know what time it is.
Was that during running of the bulls? They'd be my most memorable also
