I'm a craft beer piston wristed gibbon of epic proportions but there is actually a degree of truth to this. I had a magnificent few steinlagers ( yes this is not a mis print ) when I met the other halfs father for the first time by his pool in Hawkes Bay in February. ( after 6pm but I was in Jeans and a shirt and it was still over 30 degrees according to the car ). They were absolutely terrific after a long drive. Some of my even bigger craft beer piston wristed gibbon mates looked down at me after telling them this but options are few and far between in Wairoa.
Is your missus Black Power or Mongrel Mob?
They live on the outskirts, not in the town itself.
They're more tanned than me which isn't difficult but still too pale to be either of what you mentioned.
TBH, both the Mob and BP are a fairly open church colour wise.
Yeah she took me for a tour of the town which took about 10 minutes.....needless to say she fucked off as soon as she was old enough to go to boarding school but the rural area where her folks live ( right on the river ) is beautiful.
Did she go to one of the Hawkes Bay boarding schools? There were always a few 'farm' girls from up that way at Iona.
Wairoa is close to Mahia and had pretty good rugby players come out of there pre WW2 but other than that there's not much going for it.

She did indeed. Not sure which one exactly.
We had a great night drinking with her Dad at the RSA and the races next day was cool as well. NZ Country folk on the whole are bloody friendly.

It is a bit unusual when common wisdom is to have your 10 do most of the kicking.
However Brumbieleague didn't really need kicks in general play, and at Test level we had Burke or Eales knocking them over, and then Elton Flatley later on.

A lot of Larkham's play would be smashed out now though.
He used to turn his back to the defence to keep them guessing, sometimes fully, sometimes just to the side then fire long cutout passes or run if they drifted on him.
Nowadays those ploys are pretty well covered and you run a big risk of getting creamed.
Beale and Cooper used to try this as well and taught defences how to nullify properly. -
Pinot noir is grossly overrated. It's bland, and the ones that are starting to taste good aren't nearly as good as a nice Cab Sav at half the price.
Shiraz is better still.
Also, it's the drink I get given by suppliers and clients every year, and so my dad (who hoovers the stuff up) does well out of it.

So true. Pinot is a fluffybunny of a grape to grow, and low yield (generally) so a good one is going to cost.

Every time I go to the rapa I prepare myself to spend a fair amount but anything too much is alot for something that you get four glasses out of ( or two if you're with the other half )

Not possessing the sophisticated palette of others, I prefer a cheeky Merlot to a Pinot, which is a woman's grape.
