@Nepia I watched it in the 80s, as I am sure you did, so
it is actually as old as I am!
Yep, although I probably re-watched it way more in the 90s when at uni.

it's in black and white?
probably watched it on betamax the first time
god, i actually remember going to the video store, and you having to choose the token for which version you wanted.
We had equal vhs and beta sections at the local petrol station-fish and chip-video shop when I was a kid. By the time the United Video opened beta was already done.

@mariner4life the 80s was a different era when it came to movies, Porkys, Revenge of the Nerds, Screwballs, Animal House, Blazing Saddles etc
Many of those films wouldnt get past the door of a studio now, but boy they were funny AF back then.
Pedant Alert! That was the early 70s.
Blazing Saddles is already about as funny as a Movie could possibly be. The fact that woke Millennials would find it obscenely offensive and demand that it gets cancelled possibly makes it even better.
Where the white women at ?

Accidentally bought Mrs CF a dairy free cake for her birthday. Like eating dry wall. Woke people are like vegans. Pleasureless and humourless existences.

@canefan Sunday Horrors, maybe 10pm, used to sit up and watch them over long weekends or holidays, one even gave me nightmares for weeks haha
Haha so many happy memories of sneaking into the lounge on Sunday night and watch with the volume down. Pretty sure this ‘classic’ was on late at some stage.....

I walked down the street yesterday, passed two teenage girls who exited some shop, and then started walking behind me. Their conversation started with "I really don't like that New Zealand shops are still selling Redskins stuff" - presumably referring to some Washington Redskins merch. Then started talking about "the Chiefs", and whether that was okay, and then how foreigners must think about "the All Blacks... but that's really okay, because it's just all about the uniform colour"... and just generally a pair excellent examples of our next generation, superbly woke, and wonderfully unaware of actual context of any subject.
I really wanted to turn and ask them what they thought foreigners must think of our soccer team's nickname. -

Knives Out.
Sensational. Really outstanding film, well built, well acted, well directed, great performances. Really enjoyed it.
Five suicides out of five murders
Didn't get on with it.
Overwrought.
Mate, love it to bits. Daniel Craig chewing scenery, it's wonderul. Loving the cinematography and script. Overblown but wonderful fun

You're two posts in on this movie and have mentioned Daniel Craig but not Ana De Armas.

She’s definitely gonna make the new Bond even more awesome than it woulda been.
