That's very cool, 'cos that looks better than CGI. I just assumed that they'd need a fair bit of CGI, like for huge fkn worms!

I actually dont recall much about Dune, saw it at the movies and remember liking it, so probably best I dont re-watch the 84 version before the new one.

It’s weird, has some pretty dated SFX but a few good performances and cool scenes and the whole world Herbert created is pretty immersive. I think it got a bit rushed and suffered in post production, you can however watch a directors cut on YouTube if you’re so inclined.
To this day I still can’t decide if I genuinely enjoy it or not.....this version definitely helps explain some of the nerdier aspects that the original didn’t have time for.

Fantastic movie. DeCaprio absolutely nails it. So much profanity, tits, drugs, alcohol and downright self abuse in it. Yes, it's all of course completely wrong, and ended up with Belfort in jail, but the story & movie is just excellent. As if it needed a cherry on the top though, you not only get Margot Robbie, but you also get Margot Robbie butt naked! I mean, it's just the perfect movie.
I'm not even going to joke. 5 fucking stars out of 5 fucking stars

Jonah has always been good. Even before the Oscar nod stuff. He was fucking perfect in Superbad.
I first saw him in Knocked Up and thought he was a creepy screen presence, but since then he's been great. Particularly Moneyball as it was just a straight down the line role.

Think James Bond crossed with Back to the Future with a massive dose of utter shit thrown in. Unlikable characters, bizarre action scenes, stupid ‘plot’. Just awful, awful stuff. Couldn’t wait for it to finish.
