Wolf Of Wall Street
Fantastic movie. DeCaprio absolutely nails it. So much profanity, tits, drugs, alcohol and downright self abuse in it. Yes, it's all of course completely wrong, and ended up with Belfort in jail, but the story & movie is just excellent. As if it needed a cherry on the top though, you not only get Margot Robbie, but you also get Margot Robbie butt naked! I mean, it's just the perfect movie.
I'm not even going to joke. 5 fucking stars out of 5 fucking stars

Yeah, correct. He's absolutely perfect as New York Jewish Dickhead.

Yeah, also great. He's really fucking good actually. Mid 90's, Moneyball etc , and I really enjoyed True Story too

Jonah has always been good. Even before the Oscar nod stuff. He was fucking perfect in Superbad.
I first saw him in Knocked Up and thought he was a creepy screen presence, but since then he's been great. Particularly Moneyball as it was just a straight down the line role.

Think James Bond crossed with Back to the Future with a massive dose of utter shit thrown in. Unlikable characters, bizarre action scenes, stupid ‘plot’. Just awful, awful stuff. Couldn’t wait for it to finish.

I genuinely loved the Batmans, Dunkirk and the Prestige. This on the other hand was just full of too much self indulgent wank for me. I think it could have also benefited from better leads than Sawn off Washington and Giraffe Lady too

Similar to @mariner4life I read Dune in my early teens.
Got a bit lost.
Read it again a year or so back.

Seem to recall it was worth a read though.
Think it was written in the 60s and is more about plots and scheming and politics and fantasy rather than what I think of as Sci-fi (i.e., lasers and aliens that rip out your guts).
Tried watching the 1980s movie recentlyish too and got extremely lost.
This looks like fun though.

This and Black Klansman are two reasons I’m not a massive fan compared to his old man.
