Quite like Kane Hames in the comments. Says it how it is.

I've been impressed by Shannon Frizell this year.

What was the situation with the reserve TH prop (Malolua)? Laulala played the entire 80 mins.

Apart from his idea that it's OK to throw not straight to the lineout if the opposition doesn't contest.

I think I'd just throw it to my second five all night if that's the way you're going to rule, Kane! 🙂

Ta$man too much firepower for CM ,they are gonna take some beating ,..but a much better scoreline than the 36-3 hiding in the corresponding fixture last year ...the lesson for anybody playing these guys is ,make sure if you kick,it’s goes either to land or sideline complimented with a good chase alignment..

                Good effort by Ta$man.

I was a bit concerned at how the pack would go, but Isi Tuúngafasi stood up well against Laulala and the rest of the pack did well on the back of that.

Cirikadaveta was outstanding. Frizell, Makalio, Sione Havili and Lomax as well.

Backs were all good. Christie and Hunt are very good at NPC level, now. Jordan is just outstanding in NPC - approaching Richie Mo'unga level of threat.

Do you guys want a music theme for the Mako this year? There didn't seem to be too many Queen fans last year, but I'm open to requests! 🙂

I do have some sympathy for that argument. Throwing it straight is to ensure a contest. If teams don't want to contest...

Read has some conditions from his Japanese club around playing time. He was only allowed to play 40 mins last night and won't be playing against Hawke's next round, along with missing some other away games.

Ah stink, it would have been good to have him start in the kind of form he was in last year. 😉

Although, to be serious, it would have been goof for Flanders to have had a run against him.
