Not sure they will call up two extra locks, plus Robinson.
If Foster sticks to his guns about playing people in specialized positions, it seems more likely to me that they'll call up a loosehead prop.
I don't believe so, the props are all specialists. I believe they will call up another lock/6. We need more height in the lineouts. We also have injured Hookers. Dixon maybe?
Yeah - but, the extra 11 players are basically injury cover, because if someone gets hurt you can't get a replacement for two weeks.
With three specialist loosehead props - if one gets injured, you've got two weeks (two test matches) sitting there with the bare minimum the rules require (though in reality Ofa offers some cover).

There is also no way Ta'avao is an option at LH despite what the journos say. Just who that LH prop would be is anyone's guess.

I'd assume you'd want to take two props, a hooker, a halfback, and a 1st five - five of the ten extras (+ a replacement for Ennor). That leaves lock, loose forward, midfield (+ ennor replacement), outside back, + 1 more.

Wonder who the next cab off the rank is?
Uncapped All Black Quinten Strange has left the All Blacks camp in Hamilton with an ankle injury. The Crusaders lock is understood to be out for six to eight weeks, effectively ruling him out fo the upcoming Bledisloe Cup and Rugby Championship.https://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=12369498

im worried Selby-Rickit isn't too far off, playing well for Southland

That reminds me... I was meaning to highlight this little passage from RugbyPass, especially for you, @m4l...
From an opinion piece entitled "The 11 players the All Blacks should call upon to bolster their Rugby Championship squad"Scott Barrett
Scott Barrett underwent foot surgery in June, but they reckon he could be good to go by early November, so it will be interesting to see how the All Blacks bring him up to speed in the middle of an arduous Rugby Championship.
He is, of course an automatic selection in any national squad when fit, so move aside, you younger locks. -
They can use Frizell at lock for Bled 1, too. Not ideal, but maybe better than a rookie.

I'd rather play a genuine lock, it's not like Frizell is a vetern like when we did that with Kaino (and it didn't work well with him either). At the very least you are getting some experience into another lock option.
