<p>Wenger has "done" operative word a good job in the past. He had some starch in his midfield back when they have Viera. Now they have a bunch of yorkies with pretty haircuts running around who can play keep away with the best of them but have no starch or directness. Time for him to move on.</p>

When Emirates Stadium was built the Arsenal Board said that their priority was to retire debt. That there would not be money available for big money signings.<br><br>In light of that Wenger has done incredibly well to consistently qualify for CL - which was the limit of Arsenal's ambition.<br><br>The issue now is he seems to have adopted a bloody-minded we don't need to recruit approach.<br><br>If not this year - then when? Seriously?? The Leicester dream falters but the other contenders all stand back and say after you - no after you, I insist. No after you....

<p>Absolutely this. His legacy, even more than the trophies, or the unbeaten year, will be his ability to get into the CL every year while being financially prudent enough to pay for that stadium. It was a hell of a job, especially when you see the financial muscle he was up against. </p>

<p>But how many years will supporters hear "so and so coming back from injury is like a new signing" or "there isn't value in the market" or "cohesion is what is most important" when the same flaws in the squad have existed for years, and not been fixed? I know he hates the January transfer, but the title was there for the taking by just buying a really good striker (and probably a centre back as well to be honest, that big German is a liability).</p>

<p>I really don't think Wenger will win another title with Arsenal, so at what point to the Board decide that is what matters most?</p> -
<p>I'm pleased for Bournemouth that they look, at the moment (eight points ahead of relegation zone), a good chance to survive their first season in the Premier Division after having come up from League Two so swiftly.</p>

<p>No - even traditional Leicester haters (Derby, Forest) seem to be backing them against the glamour clubs.</p>

<p>It helps that Ranieri is such a nice chap as well and they are a team of "journeymen" who battle</p> -
<p>So 9 games to go, surely only Leicester or Spurs can win it? 8 points to Arsenal in 3rd, and i think 10 to City in 4th (who have a game in hand). </p>

<p>It looks like that... but say for example that Leicester take 5 wins out of the last 9 games. That will leave Arsenal needing to take 23 points from 9 games - i.e Must win 7 of their last 9 games. That's a very tough ask.</p>

<p>Wenger should rest the majority of the top team vs Barca and save them for the away game at Everton. An FA Cup replay this week against Hull City too, and a win there means this weekends game vs West Brom would need to be rescheduled due to the QFs. Leicester have no such distractions. Spurs are in the Europas.</p> -
