I'd like to be a teen again, but with the knowledge I have now.

    Also: fuck off @Virgil

    That’s the trilogy, I’m spent..

Not much of a trilogy. The same shit over and over in a childish manner 🙂 Might as well watch Star Wars 😎

My first girlfriend set me up to fail, it was pretty much every day (except that time in the month) for a year when I was 16. When I tried that with subsequent girlfriends I learnt very quickly that she was an anomaly, and I would never experience that again.

But there was a catch, she had such a drive one night I ignored her and got stoned with my mates, she screwed some random guy instead.

I fell into the same track with my 1st then like you said subsequent other Gfs failed to live up to standards.

A bit young to be married, but those are the ones you keep, and there are "solutions" that she can help with for monthly issues.

"Goes like a jackhammer or a bitch in perpetual heat" was sadly never one of my metrics for ideal wife material

A mate of mine was relating a story about a bloke who got divorced after finding his wife took up jogging.

Thing is, she was insatiable. He could barely keep up with this nympho. Eventually she took up jogging to help burn off the energy - go out every morning before work, come home a bit later all sweaty and such and jump in the shower.

One morning he gets a call from work to come in early and rushed out the door. Turns the corner a couple of streets away and there she is in some dude's car, fucking him like there was no tomorrow.

    Beware the nypmho.

@NTA when I lived int he UK I used to go running along the canals, had to run by a park to get there, I only ran 3 times a week, but sure enough, every time for about 6 months there was this couple who arrived in separate cars shagging in one of them...I may have been wrong, but I assume they were having an affair not just a married couple spicing things up.

So yesterday was one of the shittest I have had as a Dad.

TR Jnr and his mate were in town, in a reasonably busy area, and they were sitting on a bench and 2 boys, maybe a year or so older approached them, one smacked his mate in the head, the other made TR Jnr give him his hat, jersey and shoes, asked for his phone but TR Jnr played dumb, and they got distracted and left.

The dude that took his stuff claimed he was homeless and life was tough and thats why he was doing it.

His mate had a cut below his eye.

I was on my way to see a client when he called to tell me about it, so I turned around and got him, drove round town a bit, couldnt see them. Mrs TR picked him up and they went to the cops, much to TR Jnr's protesting.

His mate was down there too.

These boys were caught on CCTV camera, and likely involved in another similar incident soon after.

I went for a wander round town again while he was at the cops, but didnt see anyone matching his descriptions, and I looked for areas where they may have dumped the stuff (cos TR Jnr said there was no way they'd fit his shoes)

Just makes me so mad, lucky I didnt happen across them while on my search, otherwise I would likely have got in more trouble.

TR Jnr is more worried that he was literally scared stiff, didnt know what to do.

After him walking me through it, I have told him, it was the right thing to do just giving them his stuff, it was just clothes, his mate came off worse!

His mate had been punched and was on the ground by the other guy, if he'd cracked this guy in the balls or smashed his nose, chances are, his mate on the ground woulda copped it more.

This kind of petty random shit has always gone on (I had it happen to me in my teens) but by god it made me so fucking mad yesterday, I dunno what I'd of done if I found the little fluffybunnies, but I dont expect it woulda been just walk them to the cops.

Man that is an awful experience.

Sounds like a beating would do those scumbags good.

Probably not. I would assume that happens to them regularly at home or otherwise.

I think TR's kid did very well. Self preservation is a good thing to have. He made a good decision even if he was scared stiff.

That’s horrible. Hope JR is able to get past it quickly. The worst thing is that these lowlifes won’t even get a slap on the wrist while you’d get into serious trouble if you found them and slapped them around. The system is completely fúcked.

@Rancid-Schnitzel when we said he needed to go the police he said I cant, they'll be looking for me...I was like mate, I garantee you could walk past them tomorrow and they wouldnt remember you, just random fluffybunnies.

He also said the cops are useless, they cant do anything, which is where I had to say something, told him it's not that the cops dont want to, its often there is little they can do, and if they do catch them, thier hands are tied as to what they can do about it.

But I said in reporting it, if they do get caught, it might stop them before they escalate to the next level.

But am about to go for a stroll again shortly....

I sincerely hope you don't find them. We both know you the Police wouldn't cut you the same slack as these losers if you gave them what they deserve, sadly.

When I was a young fella in Whangarei the cops used to deal with that sort of shit in a much more traditional manner. There was one hard-arsed Maori cop in particular who everybody (probably including you) knew who used to get sent round to teach the ferals some respect. I remember particularly well one night when he told a couple of guys who kicked off outside a party we were at "Don't call me mate. I am not your mate, as you are about to find out. Get in the fuckin' car". You didn't fuck with Paddy. I can't imagine someone like him would last more than 5 minutes in the Police nowadays.
