just calling it as I see em pal, calling em as I see em!

I don't have any reason to actively dislike anything, there is a whole other thread on the subject of negative fucktards on Facebook.
-
I can see why people may hate McIntyre. His face and voice are incredibly annoying. His piece about kids is absolutely brilliant though.

IMHO the king of comedians is Dave Chapelle. Best since Murphy.

Oh yeah, back in the day Lenny Henry was supposed to be funny. I hired one of his videos because of the hype. It started off slow, maintained that pace and ended with him singing or some shit. The quote on the back of the video claimed he was up there with Eddie Murphy. I can only assume he meant EM from Doctor Doolittle. Now that was a shit film. -

Chappelles show was sensational. Charlie Murphys true Hollywood stories and The ****** family are the real standouts to me. I also liked the doco when he organized a block party, seems a really nice bloke too.

Eddie Murphy pretty much stopped being funny the moment the 80s ended but Raw....Delirious.....Trading Places.....Beverly Hills Cop.....Coming to America.......that there is a collection of comedy genius.
-

I saw the kids piece..did nothing for me at all. But I don't have kids so maybe that's got something to do with it.

Agree on Chapelle, HalfBaked was my favourite stoner movie, not sure if it still holds up now..
-

I'm not surprised. When he turned on people who just did their zips up easily, I completely lost it. Tears, farts, couldn't breath. Proper piss myself laughing moment.
-

Halfbaked is a classic - right up there with Harold and Kumar Pt 1. Billy bong Thornton and Wesley Pipes = fucking epic.

I always assumed that her fanbase is women, I saw an episode of her tv show and it was fairly excruciating .
-

Ha well I get this one too now. I have a female friend who is absolutely lovely but to put it nicely is a bit of a mess, not in a terrible way, just is always victim of circumstance and not willing or able to be self-responsible for day to day life. This humour resonates with her massively.
-

Genuinely sad when Dave walked away from comedy. Grew up on Raw and Delirious so Eddie will always be a favourite. Can still quote chunks of either show.

Reckon my favourite comedian at the moment is probably Louis CK, loved his piece at the Oscars and find his stand-up really good too.

Yeah Louis is excellent. Reminds me of Carlin who was a massive influence on Louis.

Just watched Bill Burr on Netflix and I recommend that for a laugh. Great show.
-

I now need to see something to wash the mental image of Nick in lycra out of my mind.
-

It's all OK now, I have just read that Harrison Ford has confirmed a new Indiana Jones movie!

Yay. Hopefully his long lost son won't kill him.

For once the stupid newspaper habit of replicating reaction tweets has uncovered something funny....

"Indiana Jones and the quest for whatever it was he came upstairs for."
